Fins draft tidbits from Clancy

I'm ecstatic we're still "very" interested in Peters despite his attitude concerns. He is the best DB in this class by a long shot to me and it would be a shame to not at least do your due diligence on him.

Im glad the front office is doing their due diligence. I think we can trade down in the 1st and get Peters, I hope that's one of their plans. As I expected it sounds like we will draft defense heavy this year since we went offense with our first 3 picks last year. I think there will be a lot of disappointed fans on here if we don't draft a WR early. I expect us to not take a WR until round 4 or later. Unless Parker falls to us at 14, then I would be pretty bummed if we take someone else or still trade down.

You don't find it ironic that the guy mentions Peters struggling in off man coverage?

I'd wager that the Coyle is going to move to a more press man style since they signed Suh. I mean with Suh, Wake, and Vernon there on the D-line, why would you play off man and allow teams quick completions before those bad boys can do their work? Althought Coyle is pretty stupid, so you never know.

somebody pony up $5 for that draft manifest from the website

reading his little inserts on each prospect mentioned i'm sure that's some quality content well worth the money

I think we played a lot more off man as the injuries in the secondary piled up. Early in the season when we were healthy we didn't often play 10yards off. Now I'm just spitballin here but I think schematically we had to change as we were picking guys up off the street to play in the secondary. Did it work out? Sometimes but not during the last six games. With a healthy secondary and the injection of talent on the d line with Suh. Definitely can see some more press and man coverages.
