When we received an e-mail moments ago from the Miami Dolphins P.R. department titled “Dolphins Release Three Players,” we opened it right away to find if one of them is named Beck. John Beck.
Nope.

Beck is still safe. We can’t say the same for receiver John Dunlap, receiver Selwyn Lymon, and linebacker Keith Saunders. All three of them, who signed earlier this year as undrafted rookie free agents, were released on Friday.

Wonder if we will pick up any one. We have a total of 74 players that is six under the allowable amount.

I guess we could sign more players.. but they would have less than 2 weeks to evaluate them before they had to cut the rosters down to 75. Then another week to evaluate before they cut down to 53.

Hardly surprising. Haven't really heard these guys names much in camp. What is surprising is that we're so below the number of bodies of 80. Man when this regime has had enough they don't waste time.

As for Beck. I can see them holding onto him for awhile. At least until the 53 man cut limit. IF HE GETS CUT....

There was a post regarding the wire, that I can't seem to find now........my work computer sometimes is so slow in searches.

I tried googling some more info on it but found relatively nothing of use.

I know the wire is not set in stone yet but I was interested in seeing who's on it now......or do we know that info yet?

Yup, their is a few people I thought we could have held on to for some draft picsk, like THomas and Feeley, but I guess when they say they are done with someone they mean it:wink:
