Albert Wilson is a good player, I don't have a problem with Miami bringing him in to replace Landry at the slot. The problem is we all know that T baum and the front office will not get this done without the Dolphins being on the bad side of a bad contract. They don't know what a steal is because they just give money in contracts like they are playing monopoly. If Miami gets Wilson it will just be another overpay. Just like Suh, just like trading Landry, just like taking the Saints garbage LB, just like trading for Kiko and Toast Maxwell, etc.

Seconded. Like I posted earlier, it's hilarious that some "fans" laugh at a suggested UFA target because they've "never heard of him." Speaks to how knowledgeable a fan they are.

As long as he's cheap I don't care. Otherwise whats the point. Why isn't Caroo playing the slot anyhow or being given the chance in training camp? What about our practice squad. We need to start keeping and improving our own talent at some point.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Leonte Carroo is quite good if given an opportunity. Adam Gase's roster evaluations on offense have largely been crap.

Sheesh I was gonna say I hope his contract only matches about half of what Goodwin got from San Fran but he damn near matched it

    7 career TD's in 4 years.

Landry had 9 alone last season. With Jay Cutler at QB.

Seems like a lot. It’s obviously less than Landry and is 5 million less than Watkins. It’s a must to get an elite TE.

If going on salary alone, it’s about $8M per less than Watkins. Dunno wait the GTD is though.

We pay guys who have a minimal rack record of producing. But let the guys who play 80 percent on snaps on defense or Catch 400 balls for 4000+ yards and 24 TD's go.

What a time to be alive.

When you think it can’t get any worse, the Dolphins exceed expectations.

I'm sure Tannenbaum is considering this an $8m savings over Landry this year but that price seems high. Isn't that what we're paying Stills?

I bet if Miami forced this guy the rock 169 times he’d had 112 catches for 900 yards.

This is very similar to Stills’ deal isn’t it?
Not a big fan of the price but like hoops has said, it’s the time to over pay

Hoping we can get Goedert in round 2 but i doubt he lasts

Money was a factor for Landry and Suh. It isn’t their fault per se but that’s just the way it is. Suh never should’ve had a 26 mil cap hit. His position isn’t important enough to handcuff a team like that.

Guys you don't even know the GTD money yet or how it is structured. Everyone should relax, did you see how much other WR's are getting? It may only be for $6M a yr or so gtd. I have not seen this guy play but I've read some positive things, and at this point I am happy plugging holes. I will take a little drop off in slot receiver in exchange for OL and TE help (fingers crossed)

It always does when free agents are signed. I bet in two years this deal looks cheap. That's the way economics in the NFL seem to go- the rate of inflation from one year to the next is nuts.

I’m a Clemson homer to the bone, but Watkins didn’t deserve 16 a year. But if he’s healthy then he’s going to thrive with Mahomes and Reid. I expect double digit touchdowns for him.

They overpaid. He's less expensive that Landry but he's not worth 8 mill. No way no how. The team is a joke.

Half what Landry will get and he will do a similar job without having to be force fed the ball. He'll also make more big plays down the field. I like this move.

He's not good enough to garner that many targets. If he was, Andy Reid would've gotten him the ball.
