Master Saban is wise.

He'll take up around half of that is my good guess for his first year salary.

We still have some wiggle room if a good player is cut on June 1st.

I think Nick is hoping that happens.

what will be left of it once our rookies sign?
Well, San Diego had the largest Rookie Pool last year at $6.0 million(we had $2.5 million). San Diego had 11 draft picks though compared to our 6. So, our Rookie Pool should be around $3.5-4 million, which would leaves us with around $2.5 million.

Did anyone notice in today's PC how Saban danced his way around the Hakim/Boston question? It was funny- he didnt answer at all.

we haven't cut our team down to 53 players yet from all the guys signed. we'll have even more room after zgonina and the other cuts are gone.

all teams are in the same position they all have to sign thei rookies...

but I'd rather do that while in good shape that being 4 mil. behon de the cap

It's going to be hard to sign brown...

why is it going to be hard to sign Brown. The 9ers arent even in the top ten and the have to sign the number 1 pick and he is a QB even more pricy. Some of you guys worry to much he will be signed he is not a selfish guy and we dont have to worry about him holding out, were gonna hook him up and he knows that.
