Fins Might Lose Crowder

as long as we get someone like Bart Scott then it's fine, Crowder wasnt a top LB but wants to be paid like one. we would be better with someone who has instincts and is more of a playmaker

I thought dolfan565 comment was the best part of the whole article:

Guys...its Pro Football Talk. That means it is almost guaranteed to be bad information. They only get these BS rumors by culling them off fan sites, and then they throw it out there to get people stirred up. I can not begin to tell you how much they miss on.
 
Let's face facts, Crowder can be solid but lacks big plays to constitute a huge contract. He probably has his agent in his ear talking him up saying he deserves a lot more than he really does. We offered him a contract but he's not happy with it, it's not like we aren't going to pay him anything...

He hasn't proven to us that he can shed blockers, he hasn't proven he can read the quarterback and intercept passes, he hasn't proven he can be the playmaker/playcaller this team needs as the leader of this 3-4.
 
They absolutely will if his contract demands are too high. They are not going to make him a top five $$$$ LB.
 
If the FO let Zach and Taylor pretty much walk do you really think the goning to kiss up to Channing.

He's not even close to Zach's level of talent.

He would be a great 2nd team backup linebacker.

No way a great starter on any team.

He shoes will and can be filled with a draft pick in any of the first 5 rounds.

I like Porter and Akin. After that who cares...try some new guys.

I think everyone would like Akin better if he could just catch....he should of had at least3 more picks if he could only catch, but he is a linebacker not a reciever.

I dont think Channing was ever in position to make a interception all year.
 
PFT speaks as if losing Channing Crowder would be bad for the Dolphins. :lol:
