$60 million for nothing!!!!!!! its like having ted ginn all over again. the ball was in his f%$king hands on that last play and any elite WR wouldve made that catch. when ireland leaves, he can take wallace with him.
 
i think everyone would agree with me on this. i hate seeing a player get so much but plays like crap.
 
You know...he hasn't been worth it...but I'm not sure today was the best one to pick to bitch about him...
 
You have to pay him $120,000,000 to make those catches.

No use having a guy who gets 5 yards behind the defense, if the qb can't hit him with the pass.

But, the QB did get him the ball. That same QB has gotten him the ball in previous games as well. Mike has had too many drops. Now, Tannehill is not immune to any criticism in this issue. To say the QB is the only one at fault is just plain ridiculous. It's a little bit of both players...
 
And when he makes a catch 5 yards in front of the defense he curls up into a little ball. The guy is soft.
 
Wallace is on pace for 1000 yards in a new system with a QB that has yet to hit him with a nice pass, lots of "competitive" passes but nothing great. Not to mention he's doing it with a **** offensive coordinator and an even ****tier offensive line. Today Wallace made two great efforts to bring in "competitive" passes and took one to the house, and if him and Tannehill are on the same page he could have had 5 TDs and 250 yards today alone. Now I'm not blaming him or Tannehill but to expect more out of Wallace is ridiculous.
 
I feel your anger. I'm pissed too but let's not put this one on Wallace. We couldn't run the ball, we got screwed by the refs when they picked up the flag and the D let them get a 4th down and 10 from their own 20 at the end of the game. Also we had them 16-3 and stopped scoring points. 17 unanswered points didn't help.
 
wallace hasnt been awesome, but lets be honest its chad pennington arm, i mean tanny arm who cant throw it to wallace. Hes always underthrowing him big time, kills the the whole purpose of mike wallace outrunning the defender. Mike wallace isnt known for his abilty to go up for it and grab it. Stop trying to make him that guy! He outruns the cb, then should catch it in stride. Besides a few times during our first 3 games has that happen.
 
I don't think that Wallace is worth his contract. That said, with his ability to get past the defense, if I had to choose I'd keep him and get a better QB who could hit him in stride. Just like I wanted Ireland fired along with Sparano to be rid of everything "Parcells", I want everything "Philbin/Sherman" gone, and if that includes Tannehill I'm fine with that.
 
We can't keep jettisoning players.

I still wish we had Ginn Jr. Returning kicks.

Wallace will get 1000 yards, we have other worries.
