Well the Fins officially blew their chance to be the 6th seed as of today, one of the scenarios that they needed to push them up happened with the Bronco's loss and once again they couldn't take advantage of it. Now they are back to hoping for other teams to lose.

oh well, we still had to win out . . . it only matters after week 17 if we are the six seed or not.

True, but if they won out it wouldn't matter what anybody else did they would officially be in, now they need to win out and hope other teams lose.

The Chargers play the Titans next week. San Diego should win that, which will knock Tennessee down a notch.

Miami-Houston may well be a playoff eliminator. Dolphins win, Titans lose, they're still in the drivers seat.

As long as Pitt beats Balt and Jax loses to NE.

The way Pittsburgh has played down the stretch, Miami SHOULD beat them.

Houston's been erratic, hit one week, miss the next. I expect Andre Johnson to have a field day out there on Miami's secondary, and Schaub to have sick numbers, but if it turns into a running game, it plays in to Miami's hands.

My point here is that I'm hopefully optimistic at Miami winning out.

@ Tennesse is not a walk in the park.

Will San Diego even play starters? They don't have anything to play for now. They clinched the #2 seed i think and can't get the #1 seed.

Nope, they're not however I think San Diego's playing as good of football as anyone right now.

With their win, have they officially clinched the AFC?

Yea they clinched the AFC West and they will be playing for a BYE these final 2 weeks.

Ok.. So they win next week, they pretty much should wrap that up..

Basically, my point here is that they're going to have a reason to show up and play next week I assume?

Yes, they have a reason to play, and I think they wanna clinch that bye . . . don't leave it up to week 17 against the redskins.

I just gotta say . . . this AFC playoff race is crazy . . . boy that Steelers/Ravens game next week means EVERYTHING to ALOT of teams.

We aren't the only ones rooting for the black and yellow.

Pitt just came back and won, Rothlesberger threw for 503 yards, what do you think he will do to us?
