As was reported on FinHeaven a few weeks back, Mike London(fromer Fin Brandon London's father) was considering Jim Reid for his DC position with the Virginia Cavaliers. Now, it is being reported that Jim Reid is in fact going to be leaving the Dolphins to take the job with the Cavaliers.

Reid served the past two seasons as the Dolphins' Outside Linebackers coach. Cameron Wake a few weeks back credited Reid as being a big part in his rapid development from a CFL player to a NFL player.

Do you think Miami will replace Reid, or do you think they will re-assign George Edwards, the Inside Linebackers coach, as the coach for the entire linebacking corp?

This is the first of many coaching changes in the coming weeks, although this particuliar one is a promotion. The future turnovers will be for reasons of a negative nature, Henning and Pasq.

From what I am hearing lately, don't be so sure of that. Pasqualoni may return and there is possibly even a chance Henning could be back.

How about considering ZT for that job?

Did you ever listen to ZT in a interview. The guy is an idiot. Dont get me wrong he is a great player but he couldnt explain why he played well and he couldnt help someone else play well.

Great player doesn't always mean great coach.

Good luck to that guy but I really hope we dont bring back PP at alllllllllllllllllllllllllll. His scheme is good and basic 3-4 defense but its so outdated and simple it can't adapt esp with the Qbs in our division and young secondary. Our LBs can get pressure and our ends can hold up at the point of attack but that's just fundamentally sound 3-4 standard. If we could get someone that wasn't older than my age by a multiplication of 3 we'd have a shot at being able to put an awesome product on the field if we can grab some new heads in the offeseason.

Our play at linebacker has sucked...good luck to him...maybe the Canes will also rip the Cav's like NFL teams have ripped the Phins! LOL

OH GOD! I HOPE NOT! I hope Edwards is on a plane out of MIA on monday.

I still wouldn't be surprised to see Henning go and David Lee move to OC.

First, I have heard him interviewed more times than I can count and I never necessarily got that negative an impression.

What I do know is that as the defensive QB calling the plays, or as the guy who Crowder, a reasonably smart guy himself, continued to call in Dallas last year for help in orient, Zach can't be too dumb. I mean, have you ever heard Herm Edwards speak? And he's been HC for TWO teams! Although agreeing with Valandui about ILB coach being the better fit, hell, I still say Bring On ZT!!!
