Ok guys, how many of our Fins players are in with a shout of the Pro Bowl at the end of the season?!

Joey Porter must have the best opportunity, with leading the NFL in sacks this season.

But how about some other guys?! Chad Pennington has been superb for us this season, his passer rating has been great virtually all the time, 4/5 of the last 5 games have been over 100.

Could Ronnie Brown get there!? I personally feel that he's got a ways to go after coming back from his serious ACL injury, he's had some great moments this season, notably the Patriots game, but he needs to get back to putting up some bigger numbers after the last couple of games or so.

Ok, finally, how about someone such as Jake Long?! It's probably a bit of a reach for him to get there, but he's done very little wrong this season for us and even if he didn't make it, he would surely make it before too long and he's certainly justified why the FO decided to make him the No1 pick.

Thoughts anyone?!

At first I thought Joey Porter, Jake Long and possibly Bell were the only Probowlers.

But then looking at the other selections and I voted for Pennington and Brown as well.

The AFC is short on QBs and RBs this year. I feel sorry for the NFC where Westbrook, Peterson, Bush, Portis, Gore, and Jackson who should all be legitimate Probowlers by the end of the year.

At this point i would vote Pennington and Porter.
Brown does not get my vote although i dont vote till later so who knows.

because it tends to be a popularity contest people like reggie bush and Romo will get there even though they may have fewer stats and fewer games played than some of our player who DESERVE it.

If like the voting was taken out and the coaches did the selections

Penny, Joey, Jake, Ronnie would all have a legit shot maybe even throw in Will Allen and Bell

I'd only vote for Porter and Jake Long. Ronnie would be up there, but he hasn't had a decent game rushing since San Diego. That said, he has a real chance to turn it around this week against the Broncos if we don't fall behind early.

On this board our predictions for the most part would be a popularity contest also.

Joey Porter, and Jake Long seem like good bets at this point. Ronnie was on that pace, but he's cooled off a bit. Anyways, if you haven't voted yet.... GET OUT AND VOTE! If you have voted, then do it again!

If he wants, Joey Porter can start making reservations at restaurants in Honolulu for February. He is a lock to make the Pro Bowl.

After the San Diego game, I would have said Ronnie Brown was on his way to the Pro Bowl. However, the past three weeks haven't been kind to him and the fact he is sharing with Ricky probably doesn't bode well for him. I don't think Ronnie is really in the race for a Pro Bowl berth anymore.

Chad Pennington is alive and well in the race. If he continues producing the way he has so far this season, I think he goes. I don't think he will be the #1 or #2, but being the #3 is a very strong possibility. At worst, I think he selected as a Pro Bowl alternate.

Other than Porter and Pennington, there are some players who have the ability to make the Pro Bowl, but none are real close.

I would, at this point say Pennington and Porter....Maybe Jake.
GB,i agree with you here...if Pennington&Porter continue playing at the level they're playing at right now through the rest of the season,i don't see how they don't get in,and as far as Big Jake, everything i've been able to read or see on him tells me he's playing extremely well, yes he's made a few mistakes, but that's to be expected with him a rookie and playing the position he's playing...but if he continues playing like he has and continues to improve,i don't see how he doesn't at least get enough votes to be a backup...

Joey,Jake, Bell and Chad P., but I think Ronnie is going to have to pick it some and it's hard to make it sharing the ball with Ricky.

If you look at the ballot on NFL.com Patrick Cobbs is listed as a special teams choice. How crazy would that be?
