I was pretty surprised to see the FINS win total at 7 OV -130 .... I really expected the number to be 5 or 6.

What does Vegas know that I don't ... I see a 5-11 or 6-10 season .... 7 wins seems too optimistic to me, esp in light of the uncertain O-Line.

Feedback, pls ?!?
 
2 vs Buffalo, Houston, Oakland, Giants, Cleveland.

We will get at least one more win vs the NFC East, probably beat Pitt, and get Baltimore in a MAJOR letdown spot right after they play a wicked 6 game stretch which includes 3 division games then NE/Sd/Indi.

Miami has been loaded with talent but without a solid QB and leader, we would fall just short game in game out. And keep in mind that Vegas posts lines based on public perception, not how they actually think teams will fair. The public is convinced that we are the worst team in football.

As much as I would have loved to see 5 or 6, I am happy to lay some wood on a total of only 7 wins. This one will be very easy.
 
Best thing I see the FINS have going for them is three VERY WINNABLE games in a row ... The 4th, 5th and 6th games versus Oakland, Cleveland and Houston.

If they can muster some confidence with three straight wins in that span, however artificial that confidence would be, that could go a long ways for the remaining 10 reg season games.

agreed because that final stretch is brutal!!
 
i just want to see games that mean something in december
 
guy guys, everyone has to remember that one of the things that makes football so great is that its the easiest sport to turn around your team. and its also the least predictable of any of the major sports. with a little bit of luck the dolphins could sneak into the playoffs. its not that hard guys, even if we go 9-7 that could be enough to sneak in there. i know the AFC is good so itll be hard but its possible, lets shine some hope. i believe there is a chance!
 
Man you guys a ren't very optimistic. I can see 10 -11 wins. Our defense will win 5or 6 by itself. With Trent behind the helm we are much better on O. I would lay a g on the over. Mark my word.

I truely believe that we can be a 10 win team this season. I posted on another thread a couple of weeks ago which games I thought we'd win.

I think we sweep buffalo, split Jets and NE. It comes down to not making the costly, stupid mistakes that either erase a big play for us, or keep drives going for opponants (after we already stopped them on 3rd down)


If our O-line improves (gels) and we don't make the mistakes, we can beat any team

seems like we makes the pats turn into little girls whenever they face us....remember the year they were undefeated (i think 04) and they played us (i think we had won - oh, maybe 3 games or so by that time) and we beat them outta town? i left that game early thinking it was too much of a disaster to overcome. i was sorry. as for the bills (who gave up mcgahee) and the jets.....we'll see.

is a nice thought that well beat all 3 though ;)
 
I agree, we will win 8 - 11 games. Our Defense will be stellar, our offense will be better to start with and improved all year long. We will be playing meaningfull games in December.
