I don’t know about that. They (McDaniel, Grier, and Weaver) spent a ton of time with Walker at the combine and at UGA pro day yesterday. Maybe not likely, but definitely in consideration.

Yes, he is a sub-package, 2 down run-thumper, but he's younger than Walker, and he's MUCH less injury prone than Walker.

With Miami re-signing Dodson and now signing Britt; I'm wondering if it removes LB's Campbell and Walker off of Miami's draft board for pick #13?

I would think so. We can now wait until later on to draft a LB.

OG DT and DB are bigger needs than LB.

That's likely as close to an ideal comp as anyone could make.

He’s rated one of the worst LBs in the league. He’s also smallish for ILB. I think he’s a backup at best, maybe ST.

His grades were good in 2023. His STs grades were good from rookie season through 2023. His grades dropped a lot in 2024.

I like that his strength is against the run since Dodson's strength is in coverage.

So our top 3 LB's are

Brooks
Dodson
Britt

Tindall is just a ST player it seems.

I would still look to draft a LB in the mid rounds to add better depth.

We probably will keep 4 ILB's.

I'm hoping Britt is a replacement for Riley. I don't care to see him in a Dolphins uniform again.

at this point, guys like this are about all they can do. they are basically close to out of money. i think we will find his deal is for not much $. basically the dolphins are now shopping at the closeout rack at tj maxx. this is what happens when you are up against the cap. we also had to let holland go. we were in no position to pay $15mm a year for a safety.

No, they're not. The cap is a mirage. They can create room anytime to sign guys. It's not a hard cap.

Slow and unplayable in coverage. But as long as we protect him from coverage duties, likable player. Plays hard and hits hard.
