The Miami Herald reports the Dolphins do not plan to trade C Mike Pouncey.
Talent trumps trouble. Pouncey was one of the ring leaders in the Jonathan Martin harassment ordeal, per the Ted Wells Report, but might be the only Dolphins troublemaker to get a second chance in Miami. He may face a suspension from the league, but Pouncey isn't believed to be on the trade block.

I didn't put a news tag on this because i'm sure most suspected this, anyways. Its the best move at this point. Get rid of the rest of the trouble makers and maybe Pouncey can mature a little around a better group of lineman next year. If not, get rid of him down the road.
 
The question isnt Pouncey, I can't believe Hickey gets photographed With an Alcoholic beverage and a risqué girl on his screen! Did we get the right GM?
 
As for Pouncey that was the right move.
 
Why?, all men drink alcohol and have some sort of risqué female on their screen at one time or another. Probably a selfie. Anyway, it's the offseason.
 
Its our only move. It would be hard to get a great deal in trade for Pouncey. Centers are not deemed 1st round worthy most of the time

For other reasons we probably didn't get the right guy.
 
Of course they will, because Dolphins. Why would they try to get something out of him now while he still has trade value?

They will be keeping an eye on Pouncey next season so he's going to have to grow up a little if he wants to stay with the team long term. I hope so, he's a hell of a player.

I meant the picture...I'm on the same page regarding Pouncey tho.
 
24 year old pro bowl centers still on their rookie deals are worth keeping and or rehabbing. (unless of course some news comes out that he was involved with more than driving hernandez around...)

Good to know. The last thing our line needs is another hole to fill. Hope he gets off with just a fine or something. Either way he has to grow up fast.

why not? screw the world! but the key is to keep incognito out of Miami.

I sure hope he gets a job somewhere.
 
Our issues with the O-line are a so severe, you have no choice but to keep Pouncey around......
