We won. The Jets lost. We're above .500 at 5-4. According to the standings we are in the thick of things for a playoff spot. Yet why do I feel so bad about this team? Why do I have no hope? Why do I assume the worst?

Probably because it's been a rare occurance when all three phases of the FINS show up for a win.

Yeah, me too BFF78. :( We played rookie QB missing a lot of his weapons (I know we're missing quite a few also) & SQUEEKED out a win. Yay! Yeah, its just a melancholy feeling.

All long-term fans have seen this too many times. Everyone 'knows' what happens next

Because of Gase’s epic play calling.

The win just means that we are moving back in the draft. This isn’t a playoff team. We’ll most likely get embarrassed against GB.
Well, maybe we somehow pull out a win at GB and go into the BYE week at 6-4. That would set us up for a possible run at the playoffs, and that should be the goal.
I don't care about that "crap-shoot" called the HIGH DRAFT PICK.

Well
Yes the Brocktober guys are finally getting hit with reality. Now internal conflict arises due to the strange longing for a qb that is hated. Even if the longing is not there, the blow to the ego for being wrong about Brock is difficult to take.
Well, Brock is 2-2 in his starts. Not too bad for a back-up.
And no, I'm not making ANY excuses for him missing wide open receivers……..like Tannehill often does.

Offense missing 6 starters...Brock is leading the team...and we are still 5-4 in the thick of a playoff race and people still complain about Gase or think he is the problem.

We have a shitty roster...still winning
Brock is starting...still winning
We got rid of our best players...still winning

because no matter how much you rub your eyes, you cant see past another meaningless 8 win season when all is said and done.
Sure its nice to be in the thick of it in week 10, but most know what's waiting in GB...we badly need Tannehill back and to get some semblance of an offensive identity working, it it putrid to watch.
