Reports are saying Schwartz will remain in Buffalo as DC.

The #Bills have "every intention" of keeping DC Jim Schwartz, just told by high-ranking team source.

Schwartz wants out though and I bet Rex lets him go.

I cannot understand why people want to mess with our continuity.

I read that Rex was using the Buffalo job to leverage the owner of the Falcons to make a decision and that Atlanta is where he would actually like to be.

Has it been confirmed he has been offered the position in Buffalo?

Yep…you got to go against Rex two times a season indefinitely.

OK...I guess it is a done deal.

Going against Rex doesn't bother me. Philbin is 3 - 3 against Rex which I think says a lot more about Rex Ryan than it does Joe Philbin.

However, I'm guessing the Bills/Jets games are going to be interesting.

And yet had we finished 9-7, as the Bills did, you wanted continuity.

Not sure what you mean…explain.

How badly did Rex Ryan out coach Joe Philbin in BOTH games this year and for that matter Week 17 last year? Terrible matchup.

We messed with "Continuity" on offense last year and ended up averaging the most points we have in years. So "continuity" isnt everything

Coyle isn't a bad DC. He does some annoying ****, and he can be upgraded, but injuries, lack of depth, and a very poor group of LB's hurt us more than Coyle. This team needs to add strength and size at DT, and it needs to upgrade its LB's. Before the injuries hit, Coyle had the D playing way over its head. It's not a great group.

Had we beat the Jets and finished 9-7, you stated that you wanted everybody to stay in place.

Well, I said if the team went 9-7, I could not fire Joe in good faith. What he did with his staff, i.e., Coyle, I never said much on that.

In the end, he did not and should have been fired.

In terms of Buffalo. I thought on New Year's Eve the Bills looked bad and got worse with Marrone leaving. This morning, the Pegula's hit a home run and are BETTER this coming season.

You know I was kidding right? I think the entire operation should be blown up. The ONLY thing I like is Bill Lazor coming back as OC.
