Fire this guy he is our Matt Millen..... Get ride of this guy already. Earth to Saban....Take over the play calling!!!!!!!!

Yea, have our defensive minded head coach take over the playcalling duties. Gimme a break . . . the last thing we need is any more offensive confusion on this team . . . and by that meaning NO MORE OC CHANGES ON THIS TEAM. It's the biggest reason why this offense is so shaky early.

Oh christ..

I'm not huge on Mularkey myself but you have to remember he came into a new system and had to learn everything, and in his defense yesterday he actually had good play calls our guys just can't catch (Hagan could of possible had a TD) and Randy drops a first down. Who's fault is it again? He also didn't throw 2 INTs.

Someone has to take over the playcalling. Mularkey is NOT getting it done. He did not work out as Head Coach in Buffalo and he is not working out as our OC......Get rid of him......He is finished........He should not be able to work in the NFL ever agian. HE'S DONE!!!!!!!

MM's doing alright, no need to panic just yet in my opinion....

The last thing we need is more confusion on offense, and replacing MM so soon would cause us more of a setback than anything else in my opinion. Let him finish out the season, and if someone better becomes available in the off-season, then we can start to talk about replacing him. For now though, he's doing well enough to keep his job....

PHINZ RULE!!!

Let's fire Mularkey..right.

You know who we should fire? Hagan, Chambers, Mare. Why you ask? Mularkey put us in place numerous times to when and Hagan drops a ball on the 1, Mare misses another FG, Chambers drops a TD that hits him in the stomach. Who's fault is it again? Oh, Harrington also threw a INT inside the 10 or wherever. We should have had about 13 extra points atleast assuming we don't get one of those TDs.

Mike has really gotten better as the season has worn on. I would be willing to give him more time to get this system figured out. I do agree that we need to stop going after new coordinators because that's the reason our offense is so inept in the first half of the season.

Now that being said, I wouldn't have a problem with firing MM if we were to promote from within. Charlie Bagget has been here a while and he would be the leading candidate there. I wish we never would've lost Will Muschamp. (sp?)

i think saban should take over it like BB did for the pats!!!

You are aware that Saban is defensive minded right? That's why Dom Capers is the defensive specialist/ assistant to the the head coach.

I must have missed something - does he (MM) block for this team -was he wearing #77 Sunday? Did her throw 2 interceptions, and drop several balls, did he miss tackles, was he playing DB and kept turning the wrong way when the ball came?

Why is it that the people that defend Mularkey do it because their tired of change? Every season coaches get hired and fired. There's no justification for keeping a guy just because you think it will get better if he's there long enough? It doesn't work that way. When Wanny was here, Chan Gailey started off at offensive coordinator and did a good job but left for Georgia Tech. Then Norv came in and was OK and left for Oakland. When Wanny tried to promote from within all hell broke loose (4-12). Saban comes in with Linehan and Linehan did OK and goes to the Rams. We bring in Mularkey who was "let go" by the Bills. Mularkey had a poor track record with the Bills. We can certainly let him go and get another offensive coordinator providing he has a "good track record".

I think some are saying (myself included) it's not entirely his fault. There were more plays then I can remember yesterday that we should have made. He put us in position to win that's for sure.

Mularky hasn't been that bad. He calling plays that are moving the ball down field. They are not executing, blocking, catching the ball. It's not entirely Mularky's fault. He's not the greatest, but he's calling plays well enough for this offense to move the ball down the field. How many redzone turnovers do we have? how many dropped balls?

LOL...yeah Mularkey was the reason we lost that game yesterday. Last year everyone wanted to have Linehan beaten, but then we went on a hot streak, and people were riding his jock. Now people are calling for Mularkey's head, but I don't recall him making ill-advised throws, dropping passes, or pass protecting poorly. The plays are there to be made. The playbook gets a little limited when you're down a couple of scores.
