So, guys, after the surprising developments of today, can we agree *amicably* to have a moratorium on the "____ sucks" threads from now on? Until, say, we play a few games?

Not saying we're going to win the SB. Just, you know, can we hold off judgments for a while?

What gets me sometimes is how people star with the threads about ronnie been a bust or that the 2005 draft was the worst ever, even tho ronnie showed what he was capable of doing last year, they still doubt him.

I hope this shows that we have a team that can grow into something really good
 
How many threads do we have to look forward to tomorrow morning about starting Ronnie Brown at QB? I totally agree with the OP. How about a few threads about how well Pennington played for a change.
 
People like that king30 dude have to eat that crow. They doubted pennington, and we kept tryin to tell them give him time, but they wouldnt listen. Oh well Pennington showed them today.
 
Its funny how everyone wants a strong arm qb to throw 50 yds downfield and make these spectacular plays. I agree its exciting and beautiful to see, however to see a master at managing a game is a beautiful site too. Penny was on point today, if he maintains something close to that we are going to win a few games. Good Job Penny, Ricky, Ronnie, Defense, o-line, recievers, shoot everyone!!!
 
i told u guys that ronnie was a beast. all the ronnie haters are no where 2 be found.if u thought ronnie was a bust or ricky was better than ronnie right now than u dont know anything about football.im thinking about going thru recent threads and making of the names of people that called ronnie a bust or sayed start ricky just so i can expose them. those guys have absoulty no football knowledge.
and by the way i was wrong about pennington cause he looked good today and im sorry for abusing him. i have no problem admitting when im wrong and the brown haters should just admitt that there wrond

Me too. I don't know if they can do this every week but 85% and over 10 yards per attempt is amazing so Pennington deserves credit.

Really? How so?

My point is simple: every single week, we get these "we suck" or "fire ___" threads. Do you think *they* go with the nature of this forum? Isn't this supposed to be a forum for rational, thoughtful discussion of Phins football?

All I'm saying is: can we please, *please* take this game as a demonstration that you just can't judge a book by it's cover? It's an open post to Finheaven posters, if you will. Would you guys consider this game and think about it twice before posting the next irrational thread?

And as ecstatic as I am for the win, I'm not predicting great things just yet. I like the progress, for sure, but I'm holding off judgment for a couple of weeks.
