How can ANYONE defend this guy? I've said it before.... He doesn't even know how to handle the clock. It's pathetic.
 
Count me in. 7-9, 8-8, 8-8, and yet another slow start against terrible teams. The only argument against it is that his potential replacements, his assistant coaches, are equally terrible.
 
He should have never been brought back this year. Everyone saw it last year when we collapsed. Yet he was given another chance. Frankly I don't even have the faith in Ross to fire him....even if we have another losing season.
 
I don't like Philbin either, but who would replace him?

none of the assistants deserve the job either
 
If I'm Ross..... I tell Tannenbaum and Hickey to start compiling a list of coaches tonight.
 
Here's what's on coaching in this loss:

- Walt Aikens being judged 'good enough' to start at free safety, and then being left on the field.
- Dallas Thomas playing LG and Jamil Douglas playing RG.
- Our only commitment to the running game is these ridiculous outside toss plays that don't even work.
- Penalties. Philbin gets credit for us being the least penalized team? Well, he's gonna get blame for us losing the game on penalties.
 
He should have been fired at the end of last season. Same crap that we saw last season we saw in the first two games. No excuse for this team to lose to Jacksonville. This team has been hyped up. I was one of the idiots who started to buy into the hype. Fooled again. Thought this team could be a playoff contender this season when in reality it looks like they will be lucky to win 6 games.
 
After seeing this game and the bad timeout call in the first half its a FORGONE CONCLUSION he needs to be FIRED or REPLACED at the end of the year
 
Fire his ass tomorrow but bring in some random bum as interim. Coyle/Lazor don't deserve that title as they deserve to be jobless as well.

Anyone who supports Philbin is a ****ing idiot. I'd be willing to meet and slap the **** out of you.
