Make Lazor the interim coach, what do they have to lose. At worst nothing changes and we finish 8-8 at best we discover Lazor is head coach material.
 
I would. I see no good reason to keep Philbin around any longer. Ross doesn't have the guts to do it though.
 
Won't happen, but I wouldn't be opposed to it...

You are insane! Regardless of how you feel about Philbin.....at the end of the day, we scored one touchdown today in one of our biggest games of the year. Terrible play calling in the red zone and we never challenged the Ravens secondary...and you want to make Lazor a HC. Crazy.....

Nope, insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. This is on philbin.
 
Does Lazor realize that by attempting an occasional deep pass that you just might benefit from a pass interference call?

No, Lazor still needs to learn how to be a top notch play caller. Making him the interim coach would not be in the long-term interest of the team.

Great point. We must have the least amount of PI in the league after the jets. No imagination.

Then again, he sees the qb throw day in and day out and knows what he's dealing with
 
If history has shown us anything Philbin will get an extension soon.
