12:09 PT: The Gaston Gazette reports the Carolina Panthers know who they're taking with the No. 2 pick, they just aren't saying who it'll be. GM Marty Hurney said if the draft were tomorrow, he definitely knows which direction the team is headed. However, he said the team is still keeping their options open -- meaning they're still waiting to hear a trade offer that will knock them over. He said the team still hasn't received any offers. He said if they don't, they'll be content taking the player they have in mind, which is expected to be North Carolina DE Julius Peppers.
Lions | Jammer Likely the Choice - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
12:45 PT: Mlive.com reports the Detroit Lions, if they hold onto the No. 3 overall choice in this weekend's draft, will likely take Texas CB Quentin Jammer. Should the Lions trade down and manage to land two picks in the first-round, the team could look to address more depth at the receiver position and at tight end.
