Every year since 2001 when we played the Titans in the opener, we've played at home the first game of the season. Lions, Texans, Titans, and Broncos all at home. Well, truthfully, we lost two of those. But is there anything more exciting than opening day at home??? I guess the fact that the game is on a Thursday takes the sting off. That means our first sunday game will be at home :)

We already knew our opening game would be away. The Marlins have a home game already scheduled for that Sunday.

I hope we open up a can of whooping against the Steelers. I'm putting all my marvels behind the fact that the Fins should make it to the superbowl.

Well there is our first prime time game of the season. we should probley get at least 2 more?

I can't wait to go the very first game of the season. I'm from PA and go to college in Pittsburgh so you'll definitely be able to see me there no matter how much tickets cost. Woo this is going to be so much fun! Now i really can't wait :dolphins:

how hard do you think that would be to get tickets too... itd be well worth making the trip from NY if I can get tix... any input appretiated..

I Live in NJ right by NYC and its abotu a 6 hour drive.

I can't see tickets being more than $200 or so.

I am pumped for the Dolphins to be picked to play in the season's first prime time game! Way better than last years drought of coverage. Living in South Dakota I don't get to see any Dolphin games unless they are prime time. I just hope and pray Culpepper will be ready to go for the opener.

I'm stoked for a nationally televised game. They didn't have a single one last year. Not that I minded going to bars to watch, but I like watching them at home too.

If all else fails...E-Bay! If you get them early enough you could get good prices. Although I do have one trick that has worked well for me. What I do is find out the day and time the tickets will go on sale then call a Ticket Master office in some random city that doesn't have the first clue about the NFL. Find some ticket master office in North Dokota or Montana and call them about 2 minutes before they go on sale. Be careful though, if they answer your call even 5 seconds before the official sale time then they will make you call back. But this almost assures you'll get through to an agent without waiting 45min by calling the city of the event. You also have to be careful of the time-zone. I'm sure these tickets will go on sale at about 10am EST, which means if you call a city on the west coast they will more than likely not be open yet.
