Tom Garfinkel just said the Dolphins will release a list of GM candidates in the next couple of days. First interview is Friday.

Time for more speculation

All candidates who must love 'Toxic work environments.'

really reports suggest that the only names that we've shown interest in are Gamble,Wolf,Hightower, and Kahn with speculation of Tannenbaum,Pioli,Peterson, and Mangini.

Garfinkel says that, based on his conversations with Ross, having prior GM experience is probably not a dealbreaker.

Garfinkel said the first priority is finding someone with a proven track record of evaluating talent.

Mangini is still involved with the Niners.

Garfinkel made a point to twice mention the candidate must be a team player. Wouldn't say what the power structure would be.

Also says that they want somebody who is an out of the box thinker

The first interview will likely be Gaine.
Already there easy to set up fall back option.

Either that or Alonzo Highsmith

This is very telling of what Jeff Ireland was not.

Which makes you wonder why Ireland got to stay so long.
