I have each bracket seperated by a different color...seems like villanova might be getting a easy ride to the final four to me.

(1) Duke
(16) Southern/
Fairleigh Dickinson

(8) Bucknell
(9) Alabama

(5) Iowa
(12) Air Force

(4) Georgetown
(13) N'western St.

(6) Kansas
(11) UNC-Wilm.

(3) Pittsburgh
(14) Winthrop

(7) Wichita St.
(10) Cal

(16) Ga. Southern

(8) No. Iowa
(9) Arizona

(5) Michigan St.
(12) W. Kentucky

(4) West Virginia
(13) San Diego St.

(6) Boston College
(11) Indiana

Bubbles burst: Seton Hall, So. Illinois, Florida St., UAB

Looking at the first bracket

I see these teams moving on....Duke, Alabama, Iowa, Georgetown, Kansas, Pittsburgh, Cal, Tennessee. Then in the second round I see

Duke, Georgetown, Pittsburgh, Tennessee

Then Duke vs Georgetown...i'd love to pick the hoyas to do it again but right now I feel duke can beat anyone in the country when there on there game...they wont lose here. Winner - Duke

Then Pittsburgh vs Tennessee...very good game both teams matched up very well but if pittsburgh can get there game working i really dont see the volunteers even staying on the same court with them for long. Winner - Pittsburgh

Onto bracket #2

Memphis, Arizona, Michigan State, West Virginia, Indiana, LSU, Syracuse, Texas

Round 2...I see Memphis, West Virginia, LSU, Texas

Then Memphis vs West Virginia...gonna be one of the best games in the tournament, memphis hasnt showed any signs of letting up and have been one of the most consistant teams in the whole country...but I just think west virginia is the better team right now...not talent wise, just how they run the floor, attack inside ect. There playing amazing. Winner - West Virginia

Then LSU vs Texas...Texas has alot more talent...but lsu with tyrus thomas and a couple other guys arent really pushovers either and there gonna prove they can get the job done. Im actually saving that one big game of the year from daniel gibson to be tonight. Winner - Texas

Onto Bracket #3

Uconn, Michigan, Florida, UCLA, Cincinatti, Illinois, Kentucky, Gonzaga

Round 2...Uconn, Florida, Illinois, Gonzaga

Then UCONN vs Florida...Gonna be a tremendous game, florida has been the shocker of the year so far they started off like 17-0 then kinda faltered...but there still playing at a very high level. Uconn just has too much talent to be over taken in this one imo. Winner - UCONN

Then Illinois vs Gonzaga...Best elite game in the whole tournament, even better then the west virginia/memphis game. If dee brown can run the floor and get his teams chemistry working on the court there gonna be very tough to beat...but they gotta knock down there 3s for this to take place. Gonzaga is actually a really good team outside of adam morrison with Derek Raivio running the point and inside JP Batista averaging nearly 20 ppg and 10 rpg. But I did forget to mention they got a guy named Adam Morrison, who is the leading scorer in the country. There gonna have a hard time containing him on this night. Winner - Gonzaga

Onto Bracket #4

Villanova, Wisconsin, Washington, George Washington, Colorado, North Carolina, Arkansas, Ohio State

Round 2...Villanova, George Washington, North Carolina, Arkansas

Then Villanova vs George Washington...Novas only test on the road to the final four, george washington is very tough but novas just got too many pure shooters for this to even be a game. Winner - Villanova

Then North Carolina vs Arkansas....Arkansas is my team to surprise in this tournament...not based on the talent of there roster, but based on how they play as a team. But arkansas has beaten florida, alabama, and tennessee this year. There on a hot streak as of late and are playing at a great level. But lets not forget about what nc has done this year, picked to actually suck all year Tyler Hansborough has changed that whole outlook and made this team a sweet 16 contender. But like I said arkansas is my surprise team...Winner - Arkansas

So in the elite 8 we've got

Duke vs Pittsburgh
winner - Duke

West Virginia vs Texas
winner - West Virginia

UCONN vs Gonzaga
winner - UCONN

Villanova vs Arkansas
winner - Villanova

Final 4 Outlook

Duke vs West Virginia

UCONN vs Villanova

or

Duke vs UCONN

West Virginia vs Villanova

Nice job Budd....thanks for giving some love to my Air Force Falcons here in Colorado Springs....they got a sick offense,,,,lotsa 3 pointers...a nicer version of the Princeton offense and former Denver Nuggets coach Jeff Bzdelik.

Colorado Buffs might be an NIT team?

sorry bro havnt seen much outta air force this year...cause they dont play the games here but

Iowa is a tough team to face round 1 for air force...but an upset for a #12 seed taking down the #5 is easily projectable. Dont matter though they'd have to go in and face Georgetown a team superior to them with the inside game of Roy Hilbert

Don't the official brackets come out on Sunday? Can't wait.

They should look very close to what i posted...except i truely believe FSU will be in the tournament after just beating duke

If Carolina gets a three seed they make it to the sweet sixteen. They get to play half an hour from Chapel Hill.....

Nice I like ya getting WVU to the Final Four this year. I can only hope.

Would be nice to see WVU take on Texas again in the Elite Eight. WVU should have won that game earlier in the season but choked on the free throws, where they are normally solid.

Texas imo is the biggest choke team this year...no way they beat wvu in the tournament

That's alot of work- nice job! Of course I don't agree, I think West Virginia will not make it past the 1st weekend. They rely too much on the 3 and they won't sneak up on people this year like they did a year ago.

pittsnogle and gansey are both experienced players who have had tournament experience. There not a team that relies on sneaking up on people they can play you the full 40 minutes and show you just how good they are ala beating Villanova this year

They are not a basketball team, they are a 3 pt shooting contest team. All they do is take 3's. teams were not ready for them and they were hot last year, this year teams will be ready and 1 cold shooting night and they are done.

We'll see i think differently obviously...what do you think of the rest of the tournament

First off, let me state that it can't be easy to put together a tourney, alot of this has to be subjective, so I'm just stating my opinion here..

..But, how is Cincinnati in over Seton Hall? Please, their SOS is impressive (top 10 if I'm not mistaken) but outside of that, their resume is severely lacking in the quality wins department. Who have they beaten? Syracuse and Marquette?

Unless Cincy goes on a major run in the Big East tournament, there should be no chance they get into the Tournament over Seton Hall. The Hall just beat them on Tuesday by 10 in their only matchup of the season. Sole possession of 7th place in the BE should be enough to get the Hall into the dance, and a win tomorrow night @ the Pete all but solidifies that invitation.

You really don't know what the WVU team does.

Number one they protect the basketball. They have an awesome assist to turnover ratio. They rarely turn the ball over, and with the 1-3-1 defense they force alot of turnovers. This is what they rely on since they are a poor rebounding team. The team also doesn't bang the boards for the offensive rebound they get back on defense and stop transition buckets.

On offense they move the ball well, and stretch out the court with the 3. This creates alot of back door opprotunities.

Teams with a dominate big man are the hardest for WVU to beat.
Shooting the 3 is a big part of their game but to sum it all up in that only isn't smart. Teams last year were not ready for the 1-3-1 and their offensive style : That is the real issue.
