For sure. I viewed Harris as a rush linebacker for a 3-4 defense.

Arguably that is what Watt was too, but he was clearly the better talent.

I think Miami thought Harris was the better fit as a 4/3 DE.

Which is why drafting for need is a bad idea, and passing on talent due to "system fit" can really burn you.

If a player is an elite talent you find a way to adjust your scheme to make it work, you don't take a lesser player who will fit better in your round hole.
