The spirited evening session was highlighted by the first near-fight of training camp as LB Zach Thomas corralled RB Ronnie Brown from behind a tad too emphatically for C Rex Hadnot's taste. Hadnot shoved Thomas and before Thomas could retaliate, teammates stepped in. The tussle elicited a rousing ovation from the gallery.

whod u put your money on?

I think Rex outweighs Thomas by a serious amount... but Thomas is pretty intense.

I still put my money on Hadnot.

zach would smash him hadnot shouldnt show such a lack of respect to zach

He's just standing up for his runningback. I don't blame him -- I probably would have done the same thing. I'm not saying he should go and pull a Kyle Turley, but it's natural for a lineman to feel protective of his star back.

Just my two-cents.

if i was a running back, I would love if my linemen did the same.I think its normal for linmen to feel like that afterall its there JOB to take care of the qb and the rb

How about Zach doesn't take big/cheap hits on our running back, we don't have Ricky anymore, Ronnie goes down and that's it.

Great job Rex, great standing up for your teammate, I'm proud of him

Whats wrong with Zach? Loudmouthing on TC on his own teammates? Plus Zach has to undersatnd he is the leader of this team...He cant go and piss the offense...

If Zach gets hurt by a little shove he shouldnt be playing football.

If Zach gets hurt fine, we play a 4-3 with Crowder in the Middle, it happend last year and we were just fine.

Ronnie getting hurt would be a bigger hit, you can hide your weakness on defense, you cant really do that on offense

once again did u see the shove by either player suddenly zach has put this massive crunching hit on ronnie which u think could hurt him which u still didnt answer wether u saw it or not i can just as easily say oh well if ronnie gets hurt by a hit from zach he shouldnt be playing football because hes gonna be copping alot more of that during the season especially since he will be clearly carrying the load alot more this season to so i wouldnt want someone who could get hurt from a training camp hit by zach to be our premier running back and zach would be a titanic loss to us he is hands down the best performer for us on defense every year and always leads the tackles u cant hide missing your best defender:shakeno:

Why did I waste my time reading this headache-rendering post? No offense, but paragraph structure, periods, and grammar are great tools. Use them.
