I just wanted to chime in on the final 2 weeks. I think today is a good test for next week against the Jets. Don't get me wrong, today is no lock. But I think it will get us playing the type of football we need to play in this type of weather. Run....Run......Run......We control the ball, keep protecting the ball and I would like to get the penalties under control especially on the oline (ie. false starts). I think it is more difficult to play in arrowhead than east rutherford no matter the team record. So it is a good test for crowd noise and handling the ball in these conditions. By the way next week in NY it is going to being tropic compared to todays 0 w/ the wind chill.
- I would like to make one more point. After watchin last nights Cowboys game I am more impressed w/ our no name Phins. In the past I have been all for signing big names in FA, but after this years production and the Cowboys dimise, I am convinced that teams are built through the draft. We have a great couple of years in front of us and it is exciting especially after the last few. We are young, loaded w/draft pick and most importantly have a foundation in place and SMART PEOPLE CALLING THE SHOTS ON THE FIELD AND OFF. Well i am done ranting and readt for football. GO PHINS!!!
PS- I live in the Tampa Bay area and the Rays went worst to first and lost in the WS. Many fair weather Tampa fans were just happy getting there. My point.............. even though we went from 1 win to 9+ I want to get to the playoffs and win and not just settle for a good year. We have come 2 far this year. I am ecstatic w/ our season but need playoffs.
