...AJ Hawk. The only way it's not is if Quinn comes out. Yes, yes, it depends upon draft position and juniors declaring and yes, just my opinion. Looking at the other top ten drafting teams (yes, we'll be one of them), could be that after Leinhart and Bush go 1-2, there could be a run on OT's, leaving Hawk for us. Kiwanuka may be the other possibility, but it's defense in the first round (again, assuming Quinn goes back to ND).

If a QB aint available... it is either gunna be Hawk or Jimmy Williams (my personal favorite)

i dont know, but im loving Haloti Ngata. That guy is gonna be a star player in the NFL, hes like the next Corey Simon, Warren Sapp, Sam Adams...whoever else i cant think of who is great.

I would love Hawk but if we get Julian Peterson (probably won't) than we don't get a OLB. Imagine Crowder, Thomas, and Hawk at LB

I was under a pretty strong impression that Hawk was destined to be an inside linebacker.

Chad Greenway is much more likely than AJ Hawk in my opinion.

How Ahmad Brooks, the guy constantly is referred to as a "beast", and he already plays in the 3-4. That's my bet, but I wouldn't mind Jimmy Williams at safety, along with Daniels or Greg Blue, and Poole and Mitchell at corners we'd have the same growing pains as the Eagles did with Sheppard and Brown but look at what they have now, an entire Pro Bowl secondary.

he means that alot of good QBs are coming out next year such as Brady Quinn, Jordan Palmer, Vince Young and Drew Tate

Here is an interesting tid bit that I came accross. I would love to get Brady Quinn but I think the chances of him declaring are slim to none.

They might yet have a shot at Southern Cal's Matt Leinart, if Sunday's effortless show was indicative of how a 3-7 team plans to play out the string of this NFL season.

If Leinart doesn't magically appear, there are other draft options Miami likes.

The staff loves Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn, and plans to scout him intently in his game at Stanford this coming weekend, while the Dolphins are nearby in Oakland to play the Raiders.

Dolphins officials really like Texas QB Vince Young as well, seeing him as having Michael Vick-like skills but with better size.

Vanderbilt's Jay Cutler is somebody else they are following.

Forget a trade for San Diego's obtainable Philip Rivers. Miami does not like his athleticism or arm strength.

We are forgetting D-Brickshaw. The Houston Texans currently hold the #1 position and have said they are keeping Carr. Domanic Davis is a 1400 yard back, Andre Johnson is a beast, and they have a horrible Offensive line. D-Brickshaw now comes into play at possibly 3, meaning the number one pick would be up for grabs.

Do you'll really think we are going to use our first pick on D? I really think and hope we either go QB or OT. Also, remember this... It's easy to look out into the field of draft prospects and think we know who we will or may take, but the Combine will toss everyone around moving some guys up and some guys down a whole lot of picks or even rounds. If AJ Hawk runs a 4.8 dash time he might move all the way down to the 3rd or 4th round. If Omar Jacobs leaps 42" and runs a 4.29 dash, he might be the 1st or 2nd pick.. It's all a crapshot until we start seeing combine results and even then, who knows what direction Saban will go. Personally, I thought last year it would either be Rogers, Cadillac, or Benson. I thought no way in hell we take a 2nd string college back over the guy that started in front of him and the guy who I think should have won the heisman (benson), and a highly touted QB who's only knock is where he holds the ball. I still don't get why where he holds the ball caused him to drop to Green Bay.
