Fisher decision by this afternoon (please... finally... for God's sake!)

This is like watching a horrible movie that just won't end and you can't leave cause you are with your girlfriend.

Fellow dolphin fans, it seems mediocrity has crept into the mind of our brother "houtz." Let us exorcise that demon from him! Brother houtz, you will no longer accept mediocrity! You will no longer feel that being "ok" is good enough! Demon be gone! Hallelujah!

And Dave Toub isn't mediocrity? Who exactly do you think we're going to get if we miss on Fisher?

I was for Fisher initially. However the more I look into it, I'm starting to sway. Why going crazy over a coach with 6 winning seasons in 17 years! Seriously..

Does he really want to come here or is it just a fat paycheck?

The resistance to Fisher is hilarious. Some of you have to be dragged kicking and screaming towards a competently run organization.

The defense responsible for blowing leads vs Denver, NY Giants, New England, and Dallas? No, please, keep them.
Dallas? Really? It's pretty clear we lost that game because of our inability to convert field goals to touchdowns. The New England game wasn't all on them either. When you go up to Foxborough to play New England, it's expected that they'll score 30 points. It's impressive that we shut them out in the first half, regardless of the result. Part of that is on the offense too, because when you're playing New England you have to be prepared to get into a shootout with Brady, and when Brady started scoring, we had no answer offensively except 3 and outs... The Denver game is what it is and the Giants game is whatever. When you allow only 17 points, you should win. Our defense certainly wasn't perfect, but it's a lot better than most teams out there. Bottom line is in today's NFL, the opposing team is going to score and all the defense can really do is hope to limit them. I just hope our defense next year will be close to as good as they were since Nolan's been here.

I would rather have a new young coach. Not the "safe" pick, as usual. Someone with an offensive mindset is what I feel we need.

I still love Nolan even though I think he dropped the ball a bit in getting the defense prepared after the lockout. His schemes had us in position to make a ton of turnovers but the players he was given to work with just couldn't make the plays. If Sean Smith catches just half the balls that hit him in the hands in 2010 we probably would have made it to the playoffs.

I'm predicting Josh Mcdaniels is going to be the next great head coach in the NFL as soon as he gets another crack at it. It was a shame for both him and Tebow that he didn't get the chance to coach the team he built for another season.
