So the Miami Dolphins fulfilled their obligation and played their fourth preseason game Thursday night. And now that we’re done with that tedious exercise, we can move on to the interesting stuff ...

... We can get about the business of the Dolphins’ 2019 season. The real season.

It’s only days away.

It’s coming.

It’s coming whether the Dolphins are ready for it or not. And whether they’re ready or not, it will be a rebuilding season. It will be a reset season. Hate to say it, but it will probably be a painful season.

These beat writers crack me up thinking these million dollar athletes be up in their feelings about “business”.

Miami has denied Tunsil is getting traded (not saying this can’t change if a deal comes in that is too good to refuse, he ain’t a franchise QB).

And Houston more than likely brought Tunsil’s name up in a potential trade to Miami once we inquired about Clowney as they need a LT.

And fans already know this is a reset season, this isn’t breaking news. Sometimes these seasons are some of the best ones. Get to see young players get better and maybe an upset or 2 along the way.

So far I like what I am seeing.

Players are human and I am sure Tunsil isn’t happy about being trade bait. Will it affect his play? I would say no. But I don’t think it’s a stretch to say Tunsil might be annoyed or upset.

Still the whole idea is stupid. Get rid of a young talent at important position for a guy who doesn’t want to be here, and for two draft picks (which they will have to use one to replace Tunsil ). I don’t think anybody can deny this isn’t making sense. If Gase was coaching still people would be killing this idea. But since Flores is involved , its either made up by the media or not a bad idea.
No reason to trade Tunsil. None.
Another move by this regime I don’t like.

Lol this dude really hates the Dolphins, its comical at this point.
Hating the Dolphins was when he celebrated with Jason cole in press box after 2002 loss to pats when we missed playoffs.
I do not see any hating in what he wrote here. He is 100 percent correct.

“And what I’m saying is the Dolphins needed longer than any other team to settle on a decision that’s more or less moot because neither guy played so amazing as to suggest he’ll be the guy throughout 2019.
That suggests the Dolphins aren’t going to be, you know, awesome.”

He’s really taking shots at the phins because they had a preseason QB battle (how dysfunctional...) and they decided on a starter later than “aNy OtHeR tEaM” because, by his own opinion, no one looked good?

I’m sorry, this is bitching just to bitch...

I hear ya and you make a valid point there. My point is what he did in 2002 couldn’t be more lower or unprofessional. So I feel like I seen worse from him and this is mild to me. I am surprised more posters don’t bring it up. He actually did apologize for it but it was a dick move.

So much is written these days that it's hard to know what is for real and what is bull crap or click bait attempts. I'm careful to follow only credible people on Twitter. Most of what I'm seeing is pretty reliable but with pod casts and all kinds of self proclaimed experts running around you can't help but hear a bunch of garbage. To say both QBs played poorly tells me he didn't watch the games. Fitz finally clicked in the 3rd quarter last week and Rosen looked pretty sharp for a guy still getting up the learning curve. Until the line can play decent ball keep Rosen on the bench where he can't get slaughtered. Logic says that week 5 will be Rosen's time, after the bye, unless Fitz is winning!

If you disagree with him he blocks you on Twitter. In fairness I did imply that he should be a greeter at Walmart!

Tunsil shouldn't be upset if it's the Texans asking about him and not the Dolphins offering. I mean they have to listen to everything.

Pitiful sports writers think they are clinical psychologists and have the insight to know players motives and feelings treating their assessments like they are factual.

Ought to be fired for malpractice.

Why would he feel alienated? That’s a big bunch of crap written there. We suck cause we had a QB competition. And he’s so stupid to make that a point as to why we aren’t going to be good. We are the only team to have one - so that means what, 31 other teams are good since they didn’t have a AB battle?
