Here are five things to watch for the Dolphins:

1. Wide receiver. There's still no separation for the receiver opposite Ted Ginn Jr. A game like this, where the first units play extended time, hopefully will prove some. You want Brian Hartline or Davone Bess or someone to come thorugh with a big game.

2. Special teams. Not just the kicking competition -- if it's indeed a competition -- between incumbent Dan Carpenter and Connor Barth. More importantly, you want production more like the first game of preseason than the last game against Carolina.

3. Chad Henne. Look, it tells you all you need to know about preseason when A.J. Feeley is leading the league with a 106.9 QB rating. And Henne will get a Sure, Henne will get a long look in the fourth preseason game against non-starters.

4. Lex Hilliard. Not so much at running back, though. There's always a training-camp hero at running back - Cecil Collins, Irving Spikes, Jesse Chatman etc ... - often because he runs against the scrubs.

5.The rookie defensive backs. Sean Smith missed the last game. Vontae Davis had a good game. It's just about progress for these two, because the storm's coming in a couple of weeks and both are going to be tested immediately.

I will be watching Sean Smith, to see if he was 4real from the first game. I believe he is, but just want to see him tonight!

Who is Tampa even playing at reciever? Their top 2 recievers wont be playing.

My Five to Watch:

1. First and most important is Sean Smith, is he ready or will he be competing against VD for that spot for the remainder of the pre-season.

2. Is the OLine going to be consistent. Can they continue their progression in the run blocking and protect Penny from getting injured.

3. Special Teams, we need ST to play well consistently. Mistakes cannot be accepted here. As we have seen recently ST does make a big difference in a game.

4. Who is going to prove to be the regular starter opposite Ginn or is that spot going to be shared between two or three guys. I would like to see Turner have a big game. Who is the legitimate slot reciever? Bess, Cam, or Hartline?

5. Last but not least Penny, this is what I am looking for. I dont expect Penny to throw 60 yd passes to open up the passing game but I would like to see him go 40 yds down filed to Ginn a couple times. And I would like to see him hit Ginn on the run, if Penny can do that, which I believe comes with timing this offense can be dangerous. I know many of you are going to say he cant do it but I seen him throw it to Coles like that, matter of fact I have seen him throw it to Coles like that many of times against us. Open it up Penny, get your timing down with TG!!!

If we dont get the ball in the endzone or improve in the passing game , then our running game will suffer.

I think special teams , the wrs , and oline is my biggest concern

I'm much more interested to see how the starters perform for three quarters rather than how the backups like Henne and Hilliard play. That's what the third preseason game is about, it's the final dress rehearsal before the regular season.

I want Vonte to do well and get all jacked up and dance around like he did last week, just to piss off Griese. :)

I want to see Vontae continue to improve and have a good game. I loved his run support and the way he covers. If he can continue to have tight coverage he will get plenty of opportunities to make plays. With our pass rush QB will make mistakes in his direction. Also watching Smith to see if he is the real deal.......
