fl potential to be num 1

It would have to be a 77-70 win because Florida's D is not going to stop USC's O.

they can be #1 if texas and USC both lose somehow and florida wins out. but florida vs. USC? not a chance

Florida's D not good enough for USC??? You gotta be kidding me!!! If anything our O would be in question...USC wouldn't stand a chance against the Gators...Neither will FSU ;)

I think USC would be Florida and I don't think Florida will be reaching #1 this year but they our looking good for years to come.

it's not florida's defense that's weak, it's USC's offense that's unstoppable

Wow, I'm as big a Florida fan as you can find but I don't seeing them getting the chance to play USC. Texas' schedule is just to easy. I can see Florida going the route Auburn did last year. Florida's defense is lock down this year. Their offense is only gonna get better with time and experience, they should be very strong by the time they play FSU.

You would think with Florida's upcoming schedule, they would have a chance of knocking USC out of first.

A win against Tenn

Future wins against: @ Bama, @ LSU, UGA, FSU

You don't think that would cut it? How strong is USC and Texas' schedule?

Fact is unless Texas or USC loses they are not gonna drop. Yeah, I definitely think Florida has ALOT tougher schedule but I don't see them jumping up that high. USC and Texas both have gravy schedules, unless ASU or Cal have a flawless day against USC, but I don't see it happening.

Yeah, you're right. It sucks. I think we might see another SEC team being left in the dark. Be it UF, LSU, or UGA.

Yeah it will be interesting to see how the rest of the season plays out in the SEC. I'm very interested in the LSU/Tennessee game. LSU loses it bumps Florida up in the rankings. Tennessee loses, they're out of the SEC East race all together.

gators hav a way harder scheldule then usc and texas.GO FLORIDA!!!!!!!!!!!111

If Florida can get it's offense up to par a little better, they have a shot. Losing Caldwell probably won't hurt all that bad. But, after 3 games, it looks like Urban's Meyer's offense isn't going to work like everyone thought it would in the SEC. I wouldn't be surprised to see Josh Portis playing more by the end of the season.

HOW 'BOUT THEM NOLES!!!!!

Thats like saying Ronnie Brown is a bust after only 2 games. Give it time. They've played 1 SEC game and 3 games overall in a completely new offense.
