i wouldnt be suprised if one of they're 2 touchdowns (cuz they still suck) was on account of andre goodman completly blow a coverage on mason for a humongus bomb for 60 yards in the air... flacco has an incredible deep ball...
we just have to rush him all day, he throws alot of interceptions..

i'd love to see joey porter light up some of his old enemies at baltimore.. and if he can truck Leron McClain, that beast of a man, i will stand on my head, cuz that will be a bigger colision than ronnie running over cromartie...

fins still win, Sparano is showing Cameron how to GitRDun on sunday..

I don't think that we will be blown away defensively again.. Flacco has just one TD pass all season long and yes he has a big arm but he does not really have a deep threat.. Williams may be one but hes coming off an injury and is just on his way back.. his solid performance against the Colts was a first step but we will see how this develops..
I also posted a thread about why our defense will be much better vs. the Ravens but it has not gotten so much attention :D http://www.finheaven.com/forums/f2/the-dolphin-defense-will-be-much-better-vs-the-ravens-231396.html

Unfortunately the two early interceptions didn't help us in the Texans game. I'd like to see a defender take it to the house.

hmm they helped because we got points out of the turnovers (certainly just out of one) but the overall defensive performance was not enough..
and btw schön auch einen anderen Deutschen Dolfan hier mal zu sehen :)

Ich finde sowieso, man sollte sich hier mehr in Deutsch unterhalten ;)

Well, you're right, it partly helped.

We said the SAME thing about Phillip Rivers...

And Flacco is no Rivers...

They also kept Houston points off the board.

Almost every turnover was in or near FG range for them. Those alone saved us at least 12 points (We had that one fumble in the endzone)

The game shouldnt have been that close:(

based off of what exactly? He has 1 completion in the NFL that has gone over 35 yards (54), and did that even travel that far or was it run after catch? [EDIT-just watched the highlight....ball traveled about 20 yds in the air, Mason did the rest. nice pass, but hardly proof of an amazing deep ball] Only 2 completions over 25 yards (54, 35). So what are we basing this amazing long ball off of.....his work against collegiate power houses like Rhode Island and Monmouth??

Gotta stay in Frankenstein's face. The monster will panick and the villagers will torch him!

flacco sucks but with our secondary he will look like a superstar...watch

I'm inclined to agree, especially with Will Allen ailing. I think Flacco is going to be a nice QB as he develops, he's physically got the tools he needs he just needs more mental preparation and experience as not every QB starts of playing very well like Matt Ryan. With our secondary though, and the WR's he has in Mason and Clayton you figure he'll have a good day. We're going to have to pressure him very well and hopefully stop McGahee completely.

you do know that besides JT, the last defender to take it to the house was Sam Madison... in '03!!!

i would love to see tat happen, Goodman needs to step up, as does Will Allen.

guys... flacco suck lol i share the same feeling that you all have towards our defensive backfield but joe flacco right now is simply a rookie who's learning on the job, but struggling at it... just check the stats:

after 5 games against Cleveland, pittsburgh, indianapolis, tennessee and cincinnati :
-1 TD
-7 INTs
-5 Fumbles
-has only 1 pass of 40+ yards
-60.6 passer rating

those are not so bad defences, but i wouldn't expect more than one passing touchdown from his part... 2 would be possible if will allen doesn't play

that ravens team is lead by the defence once again, they have the highest rated pass defence, run defence and, obviously, the #1 defence in the nfl. Shutting down Flacco isn't the biggest challenge coming into this game, scoring against that ravens D is
