Panthers and Giants game on Dec 21st has been flexed.

Does this mean no flex game for the fins?
 
Why would they have flexed Miami at Kansas City anyway???
 
by flexing that game the Giants can't be flexed week 17 against Minn (they have been on NBC 4x this year and that is the max - therefor its mia vs nyj, denver vs san diego, tenny vs indy, carolina vs saints, or dallas vs philly.
 
I don't want to be flexed the 28th for two reasons:

1) My selfish reason is that I'm in NY and I would already get the broadcast
2) Why would you want the fins to play at night at the end of december, when the temperature I'm sure would be 10-20 degrees colder?

agreed...no need to play in potentially worse conditions than they already will have to
 
smart thinking... i never thought of it that way. i figured if they played to a bigger audience and had a good showing maybe we'd get a few more sunday / monday night games next year...not too sure how that works though
 
The NFL doesn't look at it that way. Look at the Panthers. They have to play in NY at night rather than 1pm and very well could be for homefield advantage. Whatever gets the best ratings. Also the Jets vs. Dolphins is a huge rivalry. Could be a heavily watched game.
I think Chad has teh experience playing in the cold and it wont matter. We can win with no mistakes.

For all the people who want Miami/NY to be at night, I didnt think they even flex for week 17??? Am I wrong. I thought they didnt play night games the last week of the season.

they wait till as 6 days in advance to choose the week 17 game, its only for week 17 bc they want to make sure theres a meaningfull game come that week.
 
The last week of the season their are no prime time games. No Sunday or Monday. NBC only had 5 flex games and the Panthers at Giants is #5 so that's it.
 
I was wrong, Fox and CBS don't have the right to flex a game Week 17. So that means every game is up for grabs. They choose the game 6 days before Sunday.

Only thing I'm worried about is Cowboys/Eagles. But the Miami game has way to much storyline.

Hopefully Dallas is out of the playoff race by Week 17.
