According to Peter King on "inside the NFL" next year will feature flex scheduling. If they see that a match-up might be a dud from about 3 weeks before the networks can switch the games and the times!!! Fox and NBC will have a set # of Veto's and can use them to stop the schedule change. This will not effect MNF. At most it will change only the Sunday games. Where by the time of KO could change from 1:00 to 4:05 to feature better games.

He also said something about Sunday night FB, and the Monday night FB.

Good idea IMO to avoid horribly boring matchups like this week's MNF.
