To me.....that is a better option than being miserable and whining about every little thing you can't control anyway. Nobody in Davy cares one iota what you or I think.....they have their own plan and are going to execute it. So far, I like what I see.....young players competing each week and playing hard, a coach who the players want to play for with a hard nosed attitude and about a million draft picks over the next two years. Add about 150M in salary cap and I'm feeling pretty good. You should try it....
 
I'm like most torn, after the first few games wanted the best pick. But how can't anybody not be impressed by Flores. This is my 21st year of having the NFL ticket so I have watched every single game with my own eyes for what it's worth. I just want continued improvement and we fall in the draft where we fall. There are to many variables to think it will play out perfect. Like Tua would love to have him but outside of Tank for Tua I want to hear an intelligent argument with what Flores or Grier mind you have done as a staff that disappoints. Don't want to hear Minkah he wanted out and we got more than I expected.
 
Yeah sorry but you didn’t get the job if you didn’t buy into the plan during the interview process.

that’s a good point. They are gonna drop over half these dudes like a bad habit this offseason. Ok maybe not half but over a 3rd of em.

I agree with this to a degree, but doesn't the "culture" play a factor in possible potential free agent targets wanting to be here as well. Or does it just play into how winning games effects us getting the qb that some feel is the next franchise savior.
 
This season was a huge delimia before it even started.

We purposefully entered the season to loose in order to draft a coveted QB. Sounds great but we are also purging the entire roster again at the same time. Here is why that is a huge delimia because its a built in excuse to fail for the next 3 years before determining if Flores is the right coach for the job. If he is not its another roster flush rinse and repeat but next time I can pretty much guarantee our ability to reload the roster with draft picks like we did this year will not happen.

So whats more important a Tua or the right coach. Sure love to have both but getting the right coach after waiting over 20 years wins aces high.
 
I feel like everyone forgets how poor our roster was before this purge. We have had a team of overachieving, overpaid nobodies for way too long. It was time to clean house. They did that and everyone should have been happy. The consequence of course being that we would have a team that was quite devoid of talent and would be looking at a losing season and possibly very high draft pick. Of course we all wanted the #1 pick but you cant just tell these guys to go out there and lose, or fumble, or throw a pick or whatever. Their career is at stake. They work their asses off all year to get a chance to go compete on Sundays and you would be very hard pressed to find 53 guys just willing to roll over and not play to win the sport they have loved their whole lives. Ultimately the #1 pick usually goes to the worst team in football. I believe we are the least talented team in football, but as bad as we are I dont think we are the worst so we dont DESERVE the #1 pick.
 
One thing to consider is that maybe... just maybe some of these players are not nearly as bad as they'd been advertised to be.

Taco was deemed a disaster in Dallas. He's looked pretty good here.
A lot of posters thought Needham should be cut... guess they might have been wrong.
McMillian was savaged because he isn't an outside linebacker like some of the posters wanted him to be. He's a good ILB.
Boehm... Preston... need I go on?

We are not as bad as some claim. We are not good yet; but if the season started over today, we have the look of a 7 win team.

The culture, the coach, the players (who are the dogs, the scrubs, and leaders). who are the play makers? We found out parker and williams are a great combo when healthy. The system: all these coaches and front office execs need to install the philosphy and system of the team. Hard to do that when you want them to lose. What your just gonna turn on the wins next season? We arent talking about winning a superbowl. We are talking about trying to win a game...being competitive no matter who you have out there. Knowing who you have when you dont have ELITE talent is more important to me than having elite players to carry your team. Guys get hurt gets dont pan out guys get disgruntled theres alot of unexpected. If Flores can get production out of this group we should feel confident once some real talented guys come in we can actually do something. This year is very important to the future of our team. Dont dismiss this year!

There are season ticket holders and people who pay to watch the dolphins play every sunday. Even the media looks foolish. They dont know what to hang their hats on because someone convinced them and the majority on the internet that the dolphins are intentionally losing games to get the number 1 overall pick. Try that with some other team man!

Clearly, you guys are the snowflakes, because one whisp of anything political by me and it's scrubbed and cleaned by the media platform. You guys, on the other hand are cheered and regarded for this weird anti-tank narrative.

I even made a video to help clarify what it means to "tank" for Pete's sake...
