Flores quotes on Dieter

Deiter and Davis are competing for playing time in G position. Looking to unseat Kindley. Report said Kindley came into OTA out of shape.
Tua’s personal trainer with per4orm said he trained Kindley for a month before he went to California to do I think it was 5 weeks of training he had lined up there.

Using Omar’s eyeballs and a tweet then calling it a report is not a legitimate source or evaluation to rely on.

Quite honestly "He has some of the qualities we look for in a player" sounds more like a negative than positive in coach speak.

Hopefully Deiter proves he's ready for much larger role along the offensive line. I love those big ten linemen. I thought he'd be a steal, but it hadnt come to fruition so far. Perhaps in year three, we get to finally see, Deiter make a statement by winning a starting job. I'm certainly rooting for him.

OL usually takes 2 3 years to mature, its now or never

Dieter is fine - he needed a minute but I’m sure he will contribute…

Skuras a very good players who committed egregious snap errors to Lamar in playoffs - Ravens fans will not forgive him…he had to go but he’s a very good center.

it’s like a goalkeeper in hockey or soccer who has a bad game or two when it counted most…not a true measure of the player - but a righteous emotional one…

He's garbage sadly.
I think he started slowly. There were some concerns about his strength. Some players pick up film studies more slowly.
He may be the next Thomas or Asiata, buthe also might play another decade as a starter or solid depth guy.

Deiter wasn't really horrible 2 years ago... he was just not ready yet, and playing on a VERY bad line-- a line that was too awful to help a rookie.
Last year he may well have been better, but he just wasn't needed.

No one really knows what we have here, maybe not even the staff. We need to see what he can do in pads, vs. another team. Pre-season will answer this question.

Kindley is a JAG. I'm hoping either Davis or Dieter unseat him this season. If they can't we're probably going to be looking to draft another guard this offseason. Notice our O-line took a nosedive when we went away from the old school linemen like Long and Incognito in favor of JAG's like Juwaun James, Kindley and outright busts like Dallas Thomas, Jonathan Martin, Billy Turner, Jamil Douglas, etc..
We sure have had some OL misses.
I do not think we can label anyone currently as a miss.
