I am little surprised at how much talking Florida is doing. The Canes have beaten the Gators 6 straight times. Florida hasn't beaten The U in over 20 years. Miami has certainly fallen off the national title map the last couple of years and is a team Florida is supposed to dominate. The U has nothing to lose in this game as they are unranked. If they get blown out it's expected because they are playing the #5 team in the country. The Gators have everything to lose in this game. If it's close then they could fall in the rankings. If the Canes pull off the upset Florida will be the embarrassment of college football for a couple of weeks.

All I can say is I wouldn't want to be Timmy when the Hurricane D steps on the field for their first series.

GO CANES!!!

what i do not like about those gators is that now when the u is in rebuilding mode is when they want to play them, it realy shows what kind of program they are. when the canes still had a pretty good team a couple years ago they did not want to play them. gators=cowards

I totally agree. Spurrier was always scared to play us, that's why! Tha t being said, I hope I'm wrong, but I think it could get ugly for us. Man I hope not!!!

I am a diehard Canes fan . . for this poll, I got Florida winning in a close one . . . but if that Miami defense is ready . . . if Randy has them boys ready . . . they may suprise em. But it would be silly for me to think that Miami is gonna waltz into Gainsville with a first time starter at QB and beat the Gators . . . I just want them to make the game interesting and have a shot when the fourth quarter begins.

The big university's make their schedules years ahead of time so I don't fault UF for playing Miami when they are down. I fault them for talking smack about this game. Spurrier definitely dodged The U though and I don't blame him for not wanting an extra loss every year.

The most laughable thing about UF is that they dropped Miami "to play a more national schedule".

They added Montana State in Miami's place.

I've been a fan of Miami for about 21 years. I think this team is loaded with talent, but they're inexperienced, and have shown a tendency to quit once they get down.

I think its close for about the first quarter and a half, and then Florida rolls.

The U isn't backing down in this one so it should be fun. If the Canes smack Timmy around early it could be a great game.
