Florio calls BS on Schefter's report

He's calling BS because Schefter has made no sense. Fisher can't make a decision if there is no offer, as reported by Schefter, and that's Florio's point here.

There is obviously an offer by both teams. But I think the Rams will pull their offer and hire Chud by tomorrow. In which case, the Rams will make Fisher's decision for him. And we'll be the losers stuck with him.
 
It's not BS if Fisher is headed to Indy. If we get him, it’s the greatest thing since Shula. If we don’t, he always sucked any ways. The guy we end up with, that’s the guy we had targeted and really wanted all along, right? I think all the speculating is stupid.

Pro Football Talk is the supermarket tabloid trash of the football world. Florio is the biggest tool on the planet. Pair him up with Peter King and there's no need for the Farrelly brothers to write a Dumb and Dumber sequel because we get it every time NBC has a televised game.

The issue with Fisher and the Dolphins is Fish wants leverage over Ireland - wouldn't YOU - after the TS debaucle

I think an entire dealmaking process is happening right now...why are people bothered by that? Fisher is considered the best coach on the market. He has a right to make every dollar, get as much control and set up shop the way he wants. IF the team does not like that, they should move on...but that is not on Fisher. I would do exactly the same thing.

In terms of the reporting, Schefter could be right or wrong. HOWEVER, he was adamant on the radio on his position. If you took the time to listen to it, it was very compelling.

I am interested in what might occur that is for sure, but I am not stressed that the deal has not occurred. The Fins have interviewed some other good coaches and others remain. Fisher would be a great fit here. However, I am not one of those people that is so fired up that a deal has not been done yet.

*** With all that being said, you can call me gullible, but I still think Florio is a complete douche bag and is master of arguing the obscure. When he said that Peyton Manning could end up in New Orleans and the Saints would let Brees walk after the season, he lost all credibility with me as an "insider".
 
Florio is the TMZ of the NFL. He's just like a sports talk show host "playing radio"...he makes the comments he makes to drive traffic and get people talking. Just look at the title of the article. He's still claiming a leverage game is going on, even though he admits he has no proof what so ever. That guy's a douche, and should provide factual reporting occasionally.
 
I got no prob with people dis-iking Florio - my issue is that people don't think that numbers were negeotiated - I have talked about jobs and dollar figures with potential employers without papers drawn up. Highly likely, the agent did this without Fish in the room - both employers and potential employees want that stress over before they get to the nitty gritty of who holds the power over who and what not
