Hello my Dolphin brothers and sisters. This is my first post here so be easy.
I couldn't agree more with what some of have been posting. Hiring a proven personnel guy in addition to a new coach is a definite.

The Pioli idea is probably not realistic, especially with the Pats being an AFC east rival. Floyd Reese on the other hand is not under contract and has done a pretty good job in Tennessee. Sure, he has had a few bums over the years, but who hasn't. What he did do is build a team through the draft and free agency that for the most part was competitive.

I hope Wayne is looking at this as a possibility. With all the attention he has been giving to the HC vacancy, I hope he has at least talked with Floyd to weigh his interest.
 
Well, i think he would have been hired already if Wayne was really looking at him. Waynes movin pretty fast with his interviews, if he wanted Reese, we would have heard somehting by now.

Agreed. Probably will never happen. It would be good to interview him though. Reese did a good job GM'ing the Titans during his tenure. His stamp is on the team that went to SB in '99-00 season. Things just could not turn things around soon enough when they had to rebuild and unload their vets due to sal cap.

I agree, but it is of my opinion that they have not drafted well since their rebuilding started. other than VY, i dont see much there. I need to read up on that though. They chose a wideoout a while back that failed and a corner back high i believe. im going to check.
 
they also were in salary cap jail 2 years ago beacause of bad deals by him. that's why mcnair,george,mason,rolle and carter all became cap casualties. I say we hire Mueller as the GM and let him get a good coach for us and draft us a QB!! I am tired of getting all these retread QB's.

thats what i was thinking also. If he has been there GM since 00 or whenever, then those cap problems were part his fault also.
