The Cowboys will reportedly allow LT Flozell Adams to hit the free agent market.

Pat McQuistan and James Marten would battle on Tony Romo's blind side if Adams doesn't re-sign. Free agents who get to the market usually don't. Adams is 32, but it's a surprise Dallas would let the Pro Bowler get away.

Come on over Big Boy. We could easily see Adams on the Left side with Carey anchoring the Right or vice versa. Hopefully all we need if we sign Adams is a couple of Guards.

Why not get both Adams might come at a discount since he is gonna be playing for his old coach.

Definately rather get Faneca...one year younger and guards are not as expensive.
And the tackle position is deep in the draft...
I believe w/ our 2a pick..there will be a very good tackle available..
I think it will be smarter to waste the money that way.

He'll be seeking too much money and too many years. I think we should leave Carey alone and let him continue to get better on the left side.

The only problem is Carey didn't get better...he became worse at LT. He's best at RT or RG.

NEWSFLASH -----............. YOU CAN'T DRAFT 22 PLAYERS IN THE DRAFT..................
every 3 post is get a player in the draft - c'mon you can't get every player in the NFL draft. Some holes you fill with proven Vets. I have yet to make my mind up on the Hotel but I for sure don't want to wast (in this draft at least) a pick on a o-linemen. We have so many problems that I'd rather fill the oline need with the crafty vet.

interesting development there, I thought they wanted to tag him???

Or am i thinking of someone else? I do feel pretty dumb today... so anything is possible. haha

along iwht the fcat that there is a deeper and FAR MORE superior Tackle draft hten of G's. Let alone faneca is a great G in both areas of the game w/less mental mistakes then Adams.

Faneca and Williams (chris) over Adams n god knows who at lg.

newsflash....I said get a vet in Faneca and get a T in the draft....

as in LT and LG combo is wha ti meant.

If he came cheap, but then he would still be a Cowboy if he wanted reasonable money, right?

Adams is old, too old for a rebuilding team, a flag magnet for false starts, and will want a HUGE contract. Just say "No".

I'd much rather draft a LT, and at worst you leave Carey at LT and move the rookie to RT.
