Hey fellow fin fans!

Finally! After 25 years, I'll be flying to Miami from the bay area! I'm so excited to come down there that I don't even know where to begin. I'll be getting in super early (5:20am) so we'll probably go grab a bite to eat, then chill on a beach until we can get early check in. Some things I'd like to do at some point is:

-Check out a Dolphins store and buy a ton of stuff!
-Eat at some awesome restaurants
-Visit some beautiful beaches
-Maybe go snorkeling
-Go to a good Salsa club/bar
-Any other cool things to do for entertainment

I'll be staying at the Shore Club Hotel so anything close to there would be great! Where should I go? What should I do? Anything I absolutely have to do before leaving Miami? :)

Thanks for any info guys and go phins!

You should check out South Beach area. Lots to see and do. Restaurants, nightclubs, shops, etc. Have lots of fun.
Lincoln St, Miami Beach - outdoor dining, good food and I guarantee eye candy - whatever you're into

You are coming from the most gorgeous area of the country............And, a place where there's no lack of things to do.
I've been to SOFLA, ad, I've been to the Bay Area....

If I could afford to live in the bay area I would.

Check out Las Olas Riverfront.... much more laid back and chill vs south beach.

Just enjoy the beach and sunshine. There's never fog and you can actually go in the water there without freezing to death.

Spike is right being you are only a few blocks north of South Beach. Lots of good restaurants and beach side bars.
if you are there for a few days i would take a drive down the Keys to Key West. About 2 hours from where you are.
Gorgeous sunsets. Much better seafood than on the West coast in my opinion.

You don't give much info as to being by yourself or with family. The Shore Club is just 5 blocks from South Beach, where one would normally start. As to the Dolphins gear, much better and much cheaper to buy on the Internet. FWIW, The Playwright Irish Pub on 13th and Washingto is one of my favorite watering holes.

Guess I should have said that I'll be going with the GF. I've definitely promised friends and fam some Dolphins gear so i'll try to find a good place with some deals.

So Bokamper's is a good Dolphins themed restaurant? How about Shula's steak house? Any others?

Cool, I've heard good things about Key West. We're renting a car so maybe we'll make the trip there one of the days we're there.

Halfway down the keys in Mad Dog's stomping ground, Islamarada, you can swim with the Dolphins - not cheap but if within budget a very memorable experience.

Then before getting back on US 1, stop at the Islamara Shrimp Shack for a delish Shrimp Po Boy

If you're heading to KW, the sunsets on Mallory Sq amongst all the street performers are breathtaking. Personally, I don't make recommendations cuz you never know, but I"ve never been disappointed having unassuming casual dinners at Grunts (or lunch if you'd like).. very Island-y, tasty and budget-friendly and then hit the bars on Duval if you're staying over.

There are a couple of Bokampers.. I like the one in Plantation more than Miramar, but for scenery, there's also one in Lauderdale By The Sea on the Intercoastal.

Have a great time.

To continue what Vaark was saying here's some fun things to do in the Keys

Also John Penekamp state park in Key Largo has dive boats that take you out to the reef for some great snorkling.
