Flynnsanity:The Packers’ decision to Tag or not due today

If they tag him I hope they get stuck with top qb money in him. No GM in his right mind gives up high draft picks and a big contact for Flynn!

I still think Flynn is Plan C for us. Manning and Robert Griffin is A and B.

I doubt the Rams make a deal for their pick this early so the Dolphins will be able to see what happens with Manning first, if he stays in Indianapolis then I think they will make a move for the Rams' pick, and if that doesn't go through then we'll start hearing about the Flynn/Tannehill package. It will suck major if Flynn feels dissed and decides to sign with Cleveland than to wait for us.

The Flynn/Tannehill package? Why on earth would the Dolphins grab both players? Makes zero sense.

Because both aren't proven enough. What proof is out there that either of them are NFL starters? One game against Detroit and a year and a half of playing QB after being primarily a WR is not smart to just invest in one.

No team in the NFL would even consider that strategy. Not one.

So we tie up huge money for Flynn and the eighth pick for Tannehill? Think about that for a minute by your own logic isn't that a huge investment for two unproven QBs?

The only double down involving Tannehill might be if they sign Manning. They won't obtain a young high priced FA and draft a QB at #8.

yeah there's no way they bring flynn in and pay him in free agency good money and then immediately draft tannehill at #8...no way...for one thing the media would pounce like there's no tomorrow on you having such little faith in your new big money free agent qb addition you'll look like you should be sitting in a corner...

no way in hell...all that would do is make you end up looking like an idiot for spending the money on flynn in the first place...why bring in flynn if you are gonna draft a guy with a high pick to compete with him this year...no sense

Bingo. Honestly it's not even an idea I feel like we should need to argue about.

sounds like michael griffen is gonna be tagged...mario williams with arian foster being done with i think still could happen but that $21 mil number seems like a tough pill to swallow...hearing rumors that if williams hits free agency his contract will eclipse the one that the boys signed demarcus ware to...translation: mega bucks

i don;t see how we can add a qb in free agency and still bring on a mario williams contract and keep cam wake from going postal over his deal
