Football Gameplan's 2015 NFL Team Preview: Dolphins

Thanks for posting Emory

I agree with your final prediction even though our guard position is not as settled as you posted. Really hope the two guys you mentioned (Turner and the rookie) step up but that remains to be seen.

Thanks FFM! I may be high on Douglas and Turner than most..but I've always been a fan of athletic OL with attitude

Nice job man enjoyed watching the video. Nice to get some more outside perspective on the team, especially from someone who seems to know the team like a home fan would.

Not all that good with Koa's injury history. Most on here wanted to address the MLB position earlier in the draft and move him back to the outside although the free agents we brought in have some potential.

How do you guys fell about the MLB spot?

I agree with you on Luc -- the dude sure looks like a MLB to me -- perhaps more in the traditional role -- and I love the power he brings and man can he rip the pig loose!

The other undrafted look solid relative to their value point -- it will be one of the more intense battles in camp. Like others say, Misi is a ??? based on history and I wonder if he's better suited OLB in 3-4.

Kind of a tweener I guess. But the kid might be able to flourish behind the monsters we have acquired at DT!

Great video. Thanks!!!

That's what I noticed too! How can he not make the roster when they admit to desperately needing takeaways and run stopping? I would like to see Luc get the running downs, maybe with misi at slb alongside him.

Well, Kevin Coyle wants fewer sub packages and fewer personnel changes in irder to simplify and speed up the defense.

So, if you're a one-dimensional LB, logic says you might drop down the pecking order.

Misi will start at Mike for that reason, imo. He'll be on the field in base and nickel downs.

Guys like Sheppard and Luc are harder to accomodate on third down or facing the no huddle.

McCain, if he bulks up, will get some work at Sam and might go into the DE rotation on nickel downs.

Misi is not crazy instinctual, but he is solid and his coverage has improved from when he was a converted pass rusher out of college. Outside of Sheppard, who is less versatile, nobody is going to threaten Misi at Mike.

Coyle prefers vets to rookies and he loves Misi. We may see Sheppard get some Mike snaps against run-heavy teams, but I cant see beyond Misi.

Im more concerned about Sam. Cam Wake isnt a great edge setter and McCain behind him is light in the pants plus a bit slow on the uptake. Paysinger might get some Sam work.

All in all, it's not an all-Pro room, but theres enough talent there, considering what's in front and behind them.
