Football is a physical game, our D has ALWAYS been finesse

Why? I'm 40 (I'M A MAN!!) and I have never seen physical aggressive defense in my 35 years of memory (Killer B's were aged by then)
Zach Thomas Jason Taylor Pat Surtain and Sam Madison was probably the most talented defense but even they often folded down the stretch of crucial games.
I'd love to have an elite defense more than an elite offense. Unfortunately we won't have one here anytime soon.

Agreed.

We had a few spells over the past 30 + years of a good D, never an elite D. Surtain and Madison were the best Corner duo I can remember us having. Really liked the man on man, bump and run, in your face style they played.
