The spotlight will shine brightly upon the 2010 high school football season like never before in South Florida.
ESPN 760 and WPTV NewsChannel 5 are proud to announce a unique and unprecedented partnership that will "spotlight" one local football match-up each week in a stand-alone Thursday night game, while also providing a chance for the local communities to rally around their schools.
"This opportunity is great not only for high school football, but for all Palm Beach County athletics," said Yetta Green, the Athletic Administrator for Palm Beach County schools. "This groundbreaking coverage will be a great benefit for students, fans and the entire community. We are all looking forward to another great fall."
The new Thursday night game of the week will be featured extensively across a wide array of media platforms, with live play-by-play on radio on ESPN 760 and on the web at ESPN760.com, with additional live video coverage at WPTV's new site completely dedicated to high school football, wptv.com/footballnightinsouthflorida . Game video will be available shortly after on Comcast On Demand.
