What NE does about moving back for more picks is nothing new to the NFL. Jimmy Johnson used to do it every year and I've always felt that was the best way to build and keep a good team. If we're only gonna hit on half the picks then I'd rather have 10 picks than 7. It's pretty simple really. Of course some people here don't like the idea because we passed on Earl Thomas and got not much in return and while I understand the frustration there you can't just go by that one trade forever. Not to mention we moved way down in that trade. You can always move back 4 or 5 spots for picks.

Man is everything Miami going to do, going to be compared to New England now?

Unfortunately yes and it's just the beginning.

I can only hope for my own sanity that this new regime creates their own identity so quickly out of the gate this thought process gets squashed in it's tracks.

It's going to be torturous next season listening to the media ask questions regarding the new Dolphins and the past Patriots.
