For 1st time in awhile I think we SHOULD beat the Pats

There have been plenty of times recently where I thought we "could" but this week is first time in a long time that we "should."

Pats are without Gronk and Brady has looked mortal this year. Their defense is average and we finally have an offense with the red zone efficiency to compete with them. Our front 7 should be able to put a lot of pressure on Brady.


This is a game I think we "should" win
 
The team is gaining confidence and finally playing the way the did the first 3 weeks...I almost expect them to win out and finish 10-6....the Pittsburgh game sold me on that.

I disagree completely. Hell, that is what New England wants people to think. Then come Sunday like 7 times previously they'll find a way to put a W in the win column over us.

Personally, I can't make these kind of assumptions until it happens. They still have Brady, they still find ways to hold off our defensive pressure, they still find a way to make plays with lesser known guys.

They are the favorites, and until we can knock them off, they should be the ones that "should" win this game.

Doesn't mean we can't change that.
 
The Patriots always play for the full 60 minutes.
Miami needs to be sure they do the same to beat these guys.
 
As long as they don't bring their ref's with them...we've got a helluva shot......
 
Beating them is one part, not beating ourselves is another. The Pitts gme showed that it is possible to not beat ourselves every game.
 
We are playing better,the Patriots are very beatable.We need to play all 4 quarters and Phins should come out with a W.

do we have to bring in refs to EVERY conversation?! You know who complains about refs?! LOSERS complain about refs. Drop it. It's getting old.

Actually it's a very valid point. Forget the conspiracy theories about the Pats having them paid off. The refs have been horrible all year across the entire league.

That being said, I'm with Kdawg, not only is it the Pats, it's a a divisional game. Divisional games are always hard and can go either way. I do think we are capable of beating them, but nothing is a sure bet at this point.
 
It's a Division Game at Home, Playoff teams win those games. I hope we Win, was bummed and super pissed when we lost up there after leading 17-3. Hope we Sack Brady a Bunch. It helps that Gronk is Out. But if the Dolphins want to be a Good team, a Playoff Team, this is a game you need to win at home. No excuses man. Don't worry about the refs, just kick their Ass it is long over due, like 7 games in a row Dude.
 
The Dolphins need to beat them and beat them badly. Send them into a tailspin. Yeah not very likely that they lose out but a very good chance that if the Dolphins beat them they will lose next week against another tough team that is also playing for their playoff hopes. People keep saying that the Patriots don't lose 2 in a row. While that has been true for the most part recently.

What has also been true is the Patriots have not been a dominant team this year. The Patriots are not the same team when playing away from home. Both Miami and Baltimore have more than enough talent on Defense to pressure Brady and knock him off his game for at least a good portion of the game. Both teams have enough talent on offense to put up big points against a beat up below average New England defense.

If the Dolphins take care of business this week we need to hope that the Lions come to play and take out the Ravens. Because there is a very good chance that the Ravens will hold serve and take out the Patriots next week. The Dolphins will need to respond by beating the Bills. Then everything will come down to week 17.

Big difference is the Patriots have not been the same team on the road as they have been in their own stadium.
 
I always think we SHOULD beat the Patriots, but for some reason we seem to seem to make mental errors and Brady always finds ways to beat us. The only time I can remember in recent years where we totally dominated them was the game where Ronnie Brown went into the Wildcat and ran for 4 TD's and threw for one. Hope we can have another game like this against them, but a ONE point win would satisfy me.
