For those of you who have bashed Ted Ginn since the day he was drafted by the Dolphins, I have a list of stats of some preety good WRs in their first year in the league and Ted Ginn outproduced most of them. This is also without a solid QB throwing him the ball.
Name Rec Yards TD
Ted Ginn 34 420 2
Reggie Wayne 27 345 0
Chad Johnson 28 329 1
Terrell Owens 35 520 5
Plax. Burress 22 273 0
Henry Ellard 16 268 0
Chris Carter 5 84 2
Tim Brown 43 725 5
Michael Irvin 32 654 5
Many of these WR had Hall of Fame QBs throwing to them in their first year. (Manning-Wayne, Young-TO.......) WR is the hardest positon to translate from college to the NFL. For most it takes until their 3rd year to fully understand what it takes to succeed at that level. Im just saying give Ginn time to adjust to the NFL and he very well could have the same success as some of the above WRs. However it is extremely important to have a good QB throwing him the ball.
