For all of you upset with Saban...

Don't you get it? This isn't the same type of coach we've had the last 6 years... Saban isn't going to sacrafice our future to get us in the first round of the playoffs to lose every year and eventually blow up our cap to drop back down to a 4-12 team. He's going to put in pieces each year to take this team from 4-12 in 2004 to a team that will be competitive for a long time down the road. Unlike Wanny who was destroying our future for the now, and just trying to find the missing pieces to get us to the bowl. What did that do for the franchise? Well we're seeing it now. The effects of what he did will be felt probably until the beginning of the 07 season. I also think we'll see Saban get fired up a lot more when he brings in the type of players he wants for the team. If HIS players aren't performing well, I'm sure he'll get in their face. But what can he really say to the players on the team this year that he knows he's cutting as soon as the last game is over? Just my 2 cents.

I still want to win every game but I do like Sabans take on this. Unlike every person on ESPN I liked what he said he told the truth and I hope it is for real that we win it all in 3 to 5 years. All of this bad mouthing Saban Threads need to end unless 3 years from now we are still a 4-12 team. You have to give him a chance.

But at the same time... making certain points without offering a solution is cowardly. Alot of people,like to complain... but are reluctant to make a solution.. or if they do.. they belittle others for criticizing their opinions. This message board has become quite hostile over the past few weeks... i can't understand why people take comments so personally... Yes.. at times i have.. And yes.. at times I said things I regret... Nowadays... with so many experts here... I just try to take deep breaths and attempt not to respond.
