Dol-Fans Urged To Arrive Early For Sunday’s Playoff Game
January 12, 2002
The Miami Dolphins are urging their fans attending Sunday’s playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens at Pro Player Stadium to arrive early, so that they can be in their seats by kickoff, which is at 4:00 p.m. For the game, early parking gates, which include Gates 2, 5 and the RV entrance, open at 12:00 noon. The remaining parking gates open at 1:00 p.m. Entry gates to the stadium open at 2:00 p.m.
This early arrival is suggested for the following reasons:
- The largest in-house attendance of the season is expected Sunday.
- Added security measures that have been in place throughout the regular season, once again will be in effect for Sunday’s game. All coolers, hard containers and backpacks are prohibited. Nothing larger than a small purse that will be subject to visual inspections upon entry to the stadium is allowed. Prohibited items will not be stored at the gates; they must be returned to your vehicle.
In addition, those fans who ordered tickets over phone and are picking them up on the day of the game, are strongly encouraged to arrive early as well, it order to avoid long lines. The Pro Player Stadium ticket office, located at Gate G, will open at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday. Fans who wish to pick up tickets between 8:30 a.m. and the opening of the parking gates, will need to enter the stadium grounds through Gate 4, located off Dan Marino Boulevard, and will need to produce a photo identification.
