Again, the weak minded are willing to show their true colors and say that Chris Chambers dropped 7 balls yesterday. This was a stat that the mindless Don Criqui. threw out yesterday. Give me a break.

This is lazy and untrue.

Go back and look at the tape. Stop repeating mindless crap like the media. Balls thrown over Chambers' head or too low shouldn't count as drops.

Yeah, he had ONE really bad drop but he kinda more than made up for it.
Gus is a 51% passer for a reason. It ain't all Chambers people.

Start thinking and watching- stop repeating lies.

I agree...to an extent.

While I was the first person jumping up and down yesterday at the sports bar celebrating Chambers fantastic catch to win the game, Chambers definitely should have had some of those balls. The media can not be blamed for making an obvious observation. He gets paid to be a receiver, quite handsomely at that, he should catch everything. It's not some media conspiricy, Michael Moore, just football. He should have had 18 catches for 300 yards...

^no the point is he didn't have 7 drops, the announcer messed up, the team had 7 drops at that time... but now everyones saying chambers had 7 drops when he had 2 clear drops and a i think 1 or 2 tough balls that he wasn't able to bring down...

i totally agree with you turnaround06. Chambers had 1 really bad drop, the one on first and 10 on the last drive where he dropped what would have been a 25 yard gain right by the sideline. That was horrible, but he made up for it with the 57 yard bomb 2 plays later. The other drops (1 or 2 at most) were poorly thrown passes, that would have required great catches. I.E. over his head, or at his feet. Also Criqui is an idiot he was just yappin his jaws and didn't know what he saying. Shame 1 stupid comment can lead to so many ppl formulating an opinion on a guy.

Again, name the balls he should have caught that he didn't. I know one- final drive, first play.

I saw two others where Gus threw it way over his head and one where he threw it over his outside shoulder when Chambers was leaning the other way. Its like baseball, just because a guy is fast or athletic enough to get to a ball doesn't mean its an error when he doesn't make the play.

Criqui and the many fans in here are lazy and not paying attention when they attribute drops to Chambers he shouldn't get.

the team dropped 7 it was a mistake by the anouncers

You know, you can disect how many passes Chris Chambers dropped, how many balls he COULD have caught... you can discuss the way he catches the ball, and the routes he runs. Bottom line however, Chambers was a playmaker yesterday, plain and simple. He had a few mistakes, but came up big when it mattered most. People on this board like to point out the negatives with Chris Chambers, but I don't. When Chambers gets his chances, he makes plays... and that's all I want out of him... to make plays, and most of the time, he makes big ones.
